Backstory: Growing up in a small town in Colorado, Finley always wanted to learn about the world. Mostly through books and direct research. As much as her parents were against this. Especially as an only child with few friends, and no family besides her mother and father. Not her growing and learning, but they felt she wasn’t fully aware or understanding of the dangers that came with exploring untested and new theories. While she respected and understood this rule, her interest in learning about the worlds and everything else never subsided. Until word of the Stark Academy came around.
Finley began to develop abilities. An event nobody expected, or relatively knew how to manage. So when word of the Stark Academy came about, they enrolled her as soon as they could. Before leaving, Finley found out about her Father’s past. As an apparent villain, the son of a hero, and someone who worked with the New Avengers. And finding that he may have known about why she had abilities.
Their falling out left her to question wether she was right to listen to them, and avoid exploring the unknown. After years of dreaming, she’d finally be able to explore the world. Though her means and limitations were now largely in question.
Personality: Finley can seem naturally distant, or stuck in her head. But it’s usually not intentional. She can becomes stuck on a subject or topic, and is nearly unable to let it go until she knows as much as she can about it. Though this only applies to things that interest her.
