(I’m shocked they found a clip with San wearing a shirt lol)

Fun fact - Ateez was one of the main inspirations for the Saja Boys

Also that dance w/o the angle changes is funky as hell

Some actual k-pop choreographies are like that too :joy:

They look so cool in performance videos and on music shows but then they look strange in the practice videos that get uploaded

I think it was good but it feels a bit overhyped? I did like the action scenes, the music and choreos (and adding the songs to my playlist rn)

But otherwise the plot is generic

WHAT’S WITH THE RANDOM ROMANCE BETWEEN A 400 YEAR OLD AND A 20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD :sob: for the half of it i thought that was his wife and kids

I think it’d be so much better without the romance in general

LMAO

i love it

that’s hilarious

I mean storyline sure - but I think for me (watching it in the background while doing other stuff) it was the perfect likebackground movie!

Plot wise - yes could use work but I think the director’s explanation was there was a lot of background removed

a 3 hour movie → 1 and a half

but i think it’s the songs that made the movie the hit it is

I also learned yesterday that the director/creator is from Toronto which is pretty cool

I-

I mean I agree it was odd when that 400 yo is out here thinking this child is asking him out

but I wonder if that goes into the background b/c he became a demon young and was in the demon world for x amount of time

and we’re assuming that the demon world time is the same as earth time

to him it may have only been a few years

(i’m saying this to make myself feel better :joy:)

For me, it was just something fun for my dad and I to watch while my mom and brother were out

I agree that the songs are probably why the movie got so popular so quickly
(that and all the k-pop idols jumping on trends from the movie probably helped)

I watched it with full focus which is probably why I didn’t like it much :sob: it feels like it wasn’t too fleshed out

I wish it was 3 hours tbh

Honestly i was trying to make excuses to distract myself from that age gap but it’s not working :sob: he still felt the 400 years even if he looks young

Maybe he wasn’t too conscious??

:joy: Likely

I have not watched a full attention run through

I’ve just had it in the back while I study and I get diff parts every time it’s playing

the songs are a vibe though

agree

I do think there was a lot of background they cut out to make a generic movie

I think it has to be like this

because the way he talks he was “eaten up” by this guilt

that I truly have to wonder if it was something that made time pass really fast

because he wasn’t fully conscious

idk

100% on both of these

I also think it’s supposed to be a kids movie so that’s probably why they wanted it to be 1h30
