Wondering around the forums I found a thread that @/Stargazer54 made and I decided, how about I try and get some help by the community?
Well, as for me. I’m a new author whose slowly progressing to trying and learn something’s before I start directing my story. As, for me. My story is Mystery and that’s an unusual topic to make for your story but at the same time fascinating, it’s a love and mystery story and I was wondering if you guys can help me look for an ending!
A Description:
Story: A girl who lives in Thailand, soon leaves her country to pursue her career in the United States, Hawaii. Where she learns to make friends and pursue her dreams as one of the worlds famous tattoo artists. She then, meets her love interest Akamai Māwon-Lu until Malai finds out that her best friend gets killed back at home and she receives help in finding the killer who killed Akamai’s little sister and Malai’s best friend.
Note: Malai and Akamai has been receiving death notes by the killer.
This can be compared to Evocation. on episode.

Oh, it’s about making endings.
Sorry, if I didn’t make it clear in the title.

I’d say that you actually kill off either Malai or Akamai in the end to give it that extra twist, but their death leads to a sacrifice of finding the killer—something along those lines. That’s definitely something I would read.

Hmmm, I think that’s a cool idea lol. I might kill off Malai (female) because it’s different. Most likely it’s the guy who dies.
I just gave away a big hint towards the ending of this story.

If you do kill off someone, I think to make it really impact the reader, you have try to get them connect to the charter. Give the character a good character development and emotion—don’t make them two faced. Really express them and make them a lovable character. You know it’s hard to kill them off when you grow to love that character aswell, so it will probably impact a lot of your readers.

If you wanna make it angsty, it sounds like killing off one of the two sounds like a good idea! If it’s on Episode, you could have three or four different endings!
