You’ve always been an icon for digital art. Every piece you created made me determined to pick up a sketch because of how beautiful each of your portraits were. It’s always inspiring when you post time-lapses so I can pick up various techniques, and I’m sure many other aspiring artists also find them super helpful. As a result, my own art has improved since and it’s fun looking back to see all the little bits I’ve picked up. It’s a joy to return to these forums to look back on your posts in the art threads. Although it felt like a long year, I hope that you were able to nail all of your resolutions and that the recent holidays were an enjoyable time. Your presence in the community here is a bright one ~

When the cruel reality suffocates the souls,
One seeks for the fantasy, the charm it holds
Lots of stories, a variety of lores,
A ride of emotions that you’re yet to explore
Fairytales, melodies, tunes and lullaby
Showered to soak, or to leave you dry
Sorrow, betrayal, joy and love
In pits of hell or soaring up above
The rollercoaster, it truly feels
Makes you wonder and sneakily heals
Relentless whipping of life and pain
Then dries the tears like a self-less friend.
Smiles lit up by the heroes you adore,
Dreams haunted by the villains you loathe,
The little naive princess giving the frog a kiss,
Handsome prince charming and mermaid fish,
Scary monsters that are feared by all -
Still twists your heart in pain during downfall,
Possessed demon boy killing everyone
Is slave to the evil yet the purest one
All the tales of creation and destruction
You will immerse yourself into with great devotion
Once in an era, the brightest stars shine
But never underestimate the ones falling behind.
Upon every end, you’re left speechless
With a life lesson ant a unique experience.
Don’t worry, the journey will never finish
At each climax, a new tale begins.
With a cheerful smile or melancholic heart
You’ll find new characters and journey to start
Spellbound and once again silently mesmerised
Escaping the reality, unrestricted, unbind
Might it be imaginary, false and extraordinary
But all the lore, verses and imagery
Are the twisted tales of feelings of mankind.
The world you sneak into, originates from the one
You left behind
