I don’t think online dating makes sense or dating in general really. I just hate having to get to know people and online dating makes that even harder. Plus you can’t see the person and there’s always that risk that the person you’re online dating isnt who they seem. But for me personally, I don’t really like the guys where I live (and there aren’t a lot) so online dating does have it benefits for me - Which of those kinds of dating is your favourite?
In person, but with this whole covid thing, I cant even do that

Difficult decision. Online I’m way more myself and just it’s easier for me to be vulnerable with people, something that’s necessary in relationships. But it just lacks that element of actually being with someone, feeling butterflies by simply looking in their eyes and romantic moments together are just very different. So I guess I have to say RL.

This is my personal opinion, but for me I don’t consider online relationships real (like if I were to ever have one it isn’t real for me, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t real for other people). I’m not there to see who they really are. I’m not there to know their mannerisms, the kind of person they really are, or what they could be hiding. My needs in a relationship cannot be met virtually.
I think irl is real for me because I see them. I will learn who they are, and I will find out their persona and being for myself. They can’t hide anything through a screen. They can’t catfish me. Their mannerisms are harder to hide in person (not saying it’s not possible)
It just doesn’t feel real if it’s through a screen. We are natural human beings so I prefer to seek in person relationship (not looking for one atm tho)
