Pasta is the best food. Here’s why…
Name a more versatile than pasta. I’ll wait. The Italians really did something when they made it. They have so many varieties and you can have different flavours (if that makes sense)
Pasta goes with everything. Although, it is perfect as mac n cheese and especially good with tomatoes. It’s amazing with chicken and beef but I’m vegetarian so I leave them out. See. It’s equally amazing on it’s own.
Not only does it taste good but it has good nutritional value. If you eat pasta, you are fuelling your body with slow releasing carbohydrates, which will give you energy for the whole day. The whole day.
Dried store bought is very affordable and is good for feeding families on a budget. Or if you want to make it yourself, it’s very simple to make and only requires a few ingredients.
It’s very quick to cook and make (circa 15 mins) and even quicker to cook fresh pasta. If you’re hungry with not a lot of time, all you have to do is turn to pasta.
It’s acceptable to eat at a family restaurant but you can also eat it on a date at a 5 star restaurant. Can you do that with pizza? Only if it’s splashed in edible gold.
Pasta doesn’t need gold to shine.
Pasta > everything else.
Whether you like your pasta fresh and light, heavy and creamy or rich and herby, you can agree it tastes amazing either way. I love all of these because you can’t appreciate the whole pasta experience when eating just one of those types.
Moral of the story, pasta is the best food.
