My bf also refuses to kill anything thats living and would prefer i dont. I agree and dont want to kill bugs, but i also dont want them crawling on me, so i would haha.
So knowing my cats will provavly eat them is comforting haha.

While I am terrified of spiders, I’m a firm believer in not killing them because I don’t think it’s fair to kill something on account of being “scared”, if you can get close enough to kill it, you can get close enough to use the cup and paper method. 
Whereas I can’t go near them at all, so most of the time I’ll end up crying and hoping someone is home who can take it outside, my boyfriend is more than willing to do this.
That said, I understand fear reflexes can lead people to act differently, for me it’s the people who go out of their way to look for and kill spiders that I have an issue with.
