Event: Brunspar Rift // Zara, Miles, Circe, Zelda/Cornelia, and Ryuko
Zara finished up her analysis before transmitting the traced coordinates to her teammates. All of them wore teleports pads that emitted a faint beeping sound to confirm the signal. That’s when she turned toward their prisoner. Evarius was still slouched over right where Miles had dropped him in the alley. There was a blue light as Zara launched the drone from her arsenal. A small device hovered briefly over the fallen Lakorite before there was a projected grid extended over. Another confirmation sound and a following bright flash.
Within mere moments, Evarius was transported to the shuttle brig, a clear room toward the back of the ship. As soon as the lock mechanisms kicked in, there was a following signal to alert Damien and Bryn upfront about their new prisoner.
Back at Fernworths, Zara collected her drone while Zen ran through the final diagnostic. Though it was night by then in that timezone, anyone patrolling the streets would have seen three cadets disappear, leaving behind only traces of coloured particles.
Circe, Zara, and Miles landed in a darker area only illuminated by hovering orbs that filled the sides of the cavern. The water sparkled without any consistent light source, all flowing upstream to an altar at the very end. It was clearly still somewhere in Lakora, but unknown to the overall map.
Further on, Zelda was standing in a conversation with Ryuko, all while a spirit hovered around.
Zen would have confirmed that the artefact fragment the Selenium crew were looking for was with Zelda, right up ahead.
