They landed on the dark glass floor, face first, and still unable to wipe that stupid smile off their face. Amaranthae was totally being an embarrassed, concerned girlfriend, lashing out in confusion. Admittedly, being dropped into a volcano was a bit unexpected. Still, Echo was also trying not to get stabbed by the flailing vines prior. Regardless, only a few strands of hair were singed by the extreme heat, which they were tempted to keep because that was Amaranthae’s mark. They bet no one else was ever dropped into a volcano affectionately before. That had to be a flex somewhere.

Of course, there were other matters to achieve first. Echo quickly scrambled for finding their cameras, or whatever was leftover and present since most of the other units were scattered throughout Westeria filming different events. As much as the hidden, grand, magical castle was impressive, it was still a shame for the lack of present technology. Nothing, absolutely nothing was recorded from all of…two hours? Echo ran over toward a clock to double-check. Instead, it had been the same time they had left for the hidden realm yesterday, only a whole twenty-four hours later. When actually thinking about it, it’s not like one could really miss much in a day. Amaranthae’s realm had its own time standard; it wasn’t that terrible. Ryuko was probably still in his office should Echo ever desire to check in with him for findings.

They settled for grabbing a few additional parts before taking the hover rail down south towards Steamcrest. It was an unorthodox trip, but it seemed like a plan for now after looking up specific engineers. The trip was relatively pleasant, though mostly fuelled by the fact that Echo couldn’t stop daydreaming about a certain woman. The kisses they shared? It was all too unfortunate not to have any visual elements to the whole experience.

The shop itself was a quaint place, very steampunk, one of the older design aesthetics that Echo admired but would never engage in themselves. A quaint interior, and another boy by the workbench while Echo placed their satchel on the shop counter.

“If you’re up to the task, I may have an unusual request,” they announced, “But I can match beyond your price should it take a while to complete.”
