I went to my junior/senior prom. (I did both junior and senior year at the same time, so for me it was both.) It was actually on my 16th birthday, but overall it was kinda boring. There wasn’t anything to do really so I spent most of the time pacing so I had something to do.

That sucks!
The best part of that night was having a good dinner before with my parents, a friend and her mom. I liked dressing up and stuff, and some of my classmates sang happy birthday when I first got there, so it was overall nice, but unless you were someone who was going to actually dance there was seriously nothing to do. I got a keychain out of it at least.

We don’t have school dances, only proms! One at the end of elementary school, one at the end of high school and one when you finish college! So I went to 2 proms and I loved them. I was most excited about dressing up ahaha
