Just listen, they match a vibe almost exactly, they’re both gay men and there’s no need to change that, there’s the fact my character is still struggling with his food problems and has anxiety due to his early childhood trauma, and Ezra’s Sass is there to perfectly remedy my character’s anxiety, pushing him out of his comfort zone make him less anxious in the future, and Ezra’s might lower his sass level when he notices how everything he says gets overanalyzed by his friend/bf/bsf becase of his anxiety and overthinking, and he learns to controll a bit of his sass in his presence to not hurt Robin’s feelings but still be his sassy self, and he learns to be more serious withouth never being sassy or funny because of his friendship/relationship with Robin
