Could Ardal become a mentor in a way?
SPOILER FOR ATLA: Like how Zuko became mentor to Aang, that is his teacher for fire bending.
The same way Aardal could enlight some things about dark magic to recruits who only know textboox examples of it or just steer clear from it and don’t know a thing about it or how it works.
