My regular shampoo and conditioner are from this Korean brand that I buy through my hairdresser but I tried the Ouai detox shampoo today and I really like it

What hair type do you have?

Idk anymore :sob:
It used to border curly, usually wavy but after I shaved it it’s pretty much been straight :skull: maybe a bit of a wave on a good day lol

My hair’s also in the kinda curly/kinda wavy area so i gotchu

Finding what products work for your hair is a bit of a trial and error process but this is what I do - inspired by Ashley LaMarca’s curl routine (I can link her tiktok if you want)

I use shampoo and conditioner in the shower, letting the conditioner sit for a bit before washing it out

Right after I get out of the shower, I detangle it and then go in with a leave-in conditioner (recently I’ve been loving the Camille Rose leave-in)

After that I go in with a curl cream (I’ve been using the ouai curl cream but moroccanoil is also nice)

Then I apply mousse (rn I’m liking the Shea Moisture frizz-free curl mousse) and I scrunch it a bit to get the curls/waves (whatever you want to call them) forming - I usually let that sit in my hair for a bit before going in with gel

For gel, I’ve been using the Camille Rose curl maker and I usually put a generous amount in my hand and just scrunch the sh*t out of my hair

Then I either diffuse or air dry (i prefer how it looks diffused) and once it’s fully dry I scrunch out the gel cast with a hair oil (loved the results with the olaplex no.7 oil but the gisou hair oil is also nice)

It’s a bit of a trial and error process in terms of how much product to use - i have pretty short hair so i don’t use a lot of product

Forgot about those days :sob::pray::heart:

Ooh, I’ve never tried this

This is so helpful, I’m moving it to the notes app
How many times a week do you usually wash?

Usually every 3 days but sometimes I’ll stretch it out to four if I’m feeling lazy

I get my hair products from either sephora or shoppers drug mart btw

the tiktok creator i mentioned (ashley lamarca) also has a between washes refresh routine on her profile which works pretty well and she has an amazon store front with the products she uses

Any of the briogeo stuff!!’ :clap:t3::clap:t3:

The k18 hair repair oil :raising_hands:t3: but kind of pricey
Moroccan oil (this is a thicker oil)
I love the trader joe hair oil (smells like coconut)

I literally wash mine 1 time a week hahaha so dry shampoo is my buddy and I like the dry bar one (the vanilla or coconut smelling), the living proof, or batiste (tropical)

I want to try the Dae one!!

I standddddd by the supergroup sunscreens!!! I am a red head so melanin, not my friend! I got it the first time, before I went to the Dominican Republic for vacation and didn’t burn at all!!

I recently got their skin tint (spf 50) and love the formula!! I tend to get their glowsceeen and use it under my make up but the unseen screen is great too. I have yet to try their new mineral screen. I also love their lip balm (spf 40) in the açaí flavor.
