Question for you guys who use mandelic acid and / or azelaic acid. Which one is better? Or if you only use one, is it good?
I love love love Naturium’s lactic acid serum but they discontinued it that thing was liquid gold in a bottle (still crying about it to this day)
All the other lactic acid serums are so expensive, except for the ordinary but I don’t trust them sooo
So far I’m leaning towards azelaic acid because it is stronger. But I heard that mandelic acid is better for dry sensitive skin so idk what Im gonna do.
I got the living proof instant de-frizzer because it was recommended by one of my favourite beauty influencers who has a similar hair type to me and it actually works so well
If anyone’s looking for a drug store spf recommendation
I recently got the Neutrogena Hydro Boost sunscreen and I love it
It’s spf 50 and has hyaluronic acid. I find that it’s lightweight and wears like a moisturizer rather than a sunscreen. There’s also minimal sunscreen smell if that’s something that bothers you
It retails at $20.99 CAD (I bought it at Shopper’s Drug Mart), compared to the Shiseido sunscreen stick which retails at $42 CAD at the same store
These 2 pictures is what is in my day to day make up bag. The obvious order, primer, foundation (light coverage cause I don’t like the full coverage look on me unless it’s for a special occasion sometimes), concealer, blush, bronzer, eyes, lips and then usually last I do setting powder
I don’t currently have my shampoo, conditioner and hair mask to take a picture, but that’s the shower part. All CC (curly curl method). Only 1 of these 3 styling products is CC I think, but for that I’m a little less particular
In general I don’t really value expensive brand products outside of my hair stuff (it’s like expensive sh!t my shampoo and stuff). But yeah, don’t think there are any Dutch people left but I usually get this stuff at either the Kruidvat or HEMA, but honestly I’m not too particular. This works for me sooo
I only use the olaplex hair mask once a week/once every two weeks as needed
For the other products, I brush in my leave-in, rake through my curl cream, then I brush style with my bounce curl brush. After that, I do mousse and gel, scrunching those in (though recently I’ve been doing gel then mousse)
To dry, I diffuse it until I’m satisfied (or my arm gets tired) and let it air dry the rest of the way
Once it’s completely dry, I scrunch out the gel cast with the olaplex hair oil
