Ok, so yesterday I did find something to wear, it’s this really cute light blue dress but I put it threw the wash first so I will send a pic of that later on. But not only that I found this pretty ring and bracelet .

Okey, hello thrifters :see_no_evil:
Here’s what I got recently :sparkles:

short shorts

THEY SHRUNK AFTER I WASHED THEM??
I thought they’d stop doing that if they were thrifted :sob:
Don’t question the logic

I think like 12$?

Low rise, super cute if I stand completely still and am not bloated

Okay, the next ones were at a whole in the wall thrift store and were CHEAP
what a steal :eyes::gift_heart:

long sleeve shirt

A shirt that cover my stomach? Long sleeves? Say less :relieved:

3.75$ I believe

sweat shirt

1.50!!! (imagine that’s in capital)
A DOLLAR FIFTY??
LOVE
:two_hearts:

(Zipper is a tiny janky, and the string in the hood is gone but still 1.50!!)

Bag

Okay, tell why the lady at the thrift store actually let me barter the price cuz it didn’t have a tag :skull::heart_hands:

3$ baby

OKAY IDK IF THIS ONE COUNTS BUT STILLLLL

mystery bundle from Depop

I just wanted to try it, okay? :sob:
Lowkey was disappointed, but once I tried it on idk if I was just feeling myself or it actually looked good :skull:

cough cough 50$ cough cough

The belt is waaaaaaay to small :smiling_face_with_tear:

That’s all I have right now~ :sparkles:

random assortment of stuff acquired over the years
i think a solid 90% of my wardrobe is from charity shops or otherwise secondhand at this point <33

charity shops
I do not remember most of the prices, but generally £5 & under

favourite poor quality jeans

£4. pretty sure these are a first attempt at making jeans, or fast fashion. I couldn’t find them anywhere online though, because I remember wanting to know their fit :frowning:
They’ve lasted me at least three years so far, this picture is from 2021 iirc. ignore the weird ass pose i was drawing attention to an amusing sign but don’t want to doxx myself <//3

favourite skirt ever

this was £6 because I remember I got my friend a £4 jumper at the same time. Photo’s from last year, but I think it’s four years I’ve had it now??

ghost shirt!!!

I got this 2 weeks ago :3. I’m still very excited about it. £3/4, i can’t remember which.

cool ass button up

£3.50, pretty sure it’s somebody’s embroidery project? The pattern, I mean. The stitching isn’t very clean but it looks awesome. I got it three years ago, I’m pretty sure. brown blazer is also from a charity shop.
low quality image but idc i looked really cool

otherwise second hand

soad shirt!!!!!!!!

£35 :exploding_head: on vinted [cheapest i could get it in the uk because shipping from the us is insane], most expensive thing I’ve bought in a WHILE. But I know I’m gonna be wearing it for years so it didn’t sting too bad. I’m still real excited about this one.

talking to myself about diy projects

shirts in the first two images [you cant see one in the poor quality jeans photo :(] are both hand-me-downs from my dad that I’ve been wearing near daily since i was 13 years old. they are dearly beloved. the second was practically falling to pieces so patching it solid is my current sewing project, and the first I’ve already stitched up in a couple of places. I might post it here later if/when i’m happy with them;; it would be slightly off-topic but I figure it’s still related to slow fashion? And the materials/old shirts I use to patch it are also from charity shops.

this is the section of the first one I’ve repaired, where there was holes/it was wearing through. I’m thinking about going over it again with embroidery thread, to kind of work the repair into the design? More so than i already tried to, at least.

lovee the red bag, and the belt is cute but genuinely looks more like a choker??? I’ve always been intrigued by those mystery bundle things but too scared to actually try them </3

Frrr, it did not fit unfortunately :sob:

Before I knew about Depop, like, 4/5 years ago I ordered one off Etsy and absolutely loved it
My personal style is quite fluid so it’s hard giving reference photos, but if you find the right person it’s definitely a very exciting experience :see_no_evil:

also may I say I love your style
