I think it’s less about racism and more about a lack of understanding of other cultures and hair types perhaps?The company that made Zepeto is the same one that made SNOW which means that the company is definitely Korean. Korea is a pretty homogeneous society there is not a lot of racial diversity there besides Asians. So they might just base the hairstyles on the trends they see within their own country and the media that is popular there
Though seeing as the app has become quite popular worldwide so I do think they should add more hairstyles in for people with other hair textures soon.
