Thoughts on Real Life Escape Rooms?

There’s one that’s close to my university and they promise you that you need an hour to get out but my friend managed to get out in 10 minutes. Now we’re all trying to beat her record That’s kind of the only reason why I want to go there.

I’m curious how long it would take me to do it…

My country had a huge fire in an escape room complex a couple of years back, in which some people died and got injured. Immediately after that, massive bout of safety inspections followed. A ton of escape rooms failed them miserably and were either heavily fined or put out of business.

Somehow, this always comes to my mind when I hear of an escape room. ‘What if there’s an emergency? Are these places actually secure? What about escape routes? Paramedic access?’

I’ve only been to a place we’re the escape room only were two rooms and there was a way to open the door in emergencies.

That sounds super scary though Terrible for the people who got stuck! Every business should reach the safety standards

Ive been in 3 now, and it’s been so much fun each time.
I did one today where we started off blindfolded and handcuffed/chained to the wall, and it was so fun.
