Luke continued dancing with Wren. He felt like there was nothing else he would rather do in this moment. He wanted to make up for all the crap that happened between them before he proposed to her. On their getaway, while they were laying in bed he whispered to her that he would be a faithful husband and never make her look stupid again. Both his sisters Magnolia and Corbin were sort of mad at him about the stuff that happened regarding Enzo, Jonas and Artemis. They were protective over Wren , which he loved. They were also apprehensive since they are getting engaged so young. They were just like their mom in a way, which was both endearing yet frustrating. They claimed he was texting Artemis too much on the trip. Luke had no feelings for Artemis, they were just friends but every time he thought about Enzo, he felt a numb feeling in his heart that he couldn’t place. He ignored it more and more until it turned into bitterness. Until he couldn’t stand the guy.
“I know Blaire is your friend and seeing her get shot was probably a lot for you to deal with. I wouldn’t be upset if you just wanted to leave the party.” He said, whispering in her ear. Then he rubbed her back. He heard someone fighting nearby and looked up. It was his friends Sasha and Albert with a guy that had blue hair and another guy he didn’t know. He looked sort of like his cousin Austen. At the thought of his cousin, he saw Austen walk up to the group. Luke knew this was gonna be some bullcrap. Even though he made up with his cousin Austen after he got engaged, he knew how much of a loose cannon he was. He hoped no one got shot again.
Austen was almost going to leave the party. He was so annoyed by everything including getting beat up by Jonas. Austen felt like Jonas was such a coward. He acted as if he didn’t do anything to try and get out of the situation. He was just sitting on the couch next to his cousins Magnolia and Corbin and thinking about everything when his ex Kyle walked up to them. He didn’t have any hard feelings towards Kyle, in fact she still looked pretty cute. He was just surprised she was in Maryland. He looked at his girlfriend Arya from across the room and saw that she was busy talking on the phone and to her friend Bria. It seemed like ever since she got new people in her little coven, she didn’t have time for him.
He looked to his left and saw a fight starting that involved Piper and Albert. Austen still had feelings for Piper even though he tried to ignore it. The school counselor told him it was an obsession though. Still, Seeing Ian’s jackass face starting a fight made Austen bolt up. His fight or flight was triggered. He remembered the time that he tried to break him and Piper up by telling her about Jade.
"Back away from her or I swear."Austen stood in front of Piper. He wondered who the blonde guy was and it made him jealous deep down.
