He chuckled. “I think i will surprise you with it.” He looked down at the menu, just scanning it to see if anything would grab his attention. “Though I think you will like it.” The tip of his ears started to turn a little red.
Piper
She blushed as they made their way over to the elevator. “Gotta keep you on your toes my love”
Ash
She watched him chuckle as he said “I think i will surprise you with it.” Then they both looked over the menu. Then he said “Though I think you will like it.” She smiled and lowered the menu again. “I’m sure I’ll love whatever it is baby.” She smiled at him and then looked back at the menu. The waitress came back with their drinks and asked if they were ready to order. Piper ordered an appetizer.
Albert
Ash had wondered if he should have left a note for Jax. However, he didn’t think of it till they left. So he took out his phone and typed up a text instead.
Hey sweetcheeks,
We went to the cafe across the road. When you wake up… get dressed and come meet us.
He hit send on the message. “Gotta keep you on your toes my love ” He chuckled at her comment. “You keep telling yourself that one love.” He knew it might be true, but he kept her on hers as well. It had always been a push and pull kind of relationship till they made it official last year.
Jennifer
He took a sip of his soda before ordering a salad. The waiter walked off. He turned his attention back to Piper and smirked as he thought of the surprise he would do for her. He just needed to find a shop that had what he would be needing. "So how has St. Andrew’s Academy been treating you? Do you like it?"
Piper
When the elevator doors closed, she pushed Ash against the wall, and pressed her body against his. Having him pinned by her body, she had placed one hand against the wall as if it would keep him there. She got on her tippy toes and leaned in to kiss his jawline.
Ash
She watched Albert order. Then he turned his attention back to her as he spoke “So how has St. Andrew’s Academy been treating you? Do you like it?” She looked at him “It’s been good. Yeah, I do like it. Easy classes… Plus Koda and Roux are there. Well… Roux left… but it’s missing one key component.” She took a sip of her drink.
Ash smirked as they got on the elevator. He smirked even more when Jennifer tried ot pin him against the wall. He left her have a moment. She got on her tippy toes and kissed him. He kissed her back, but made it quick. Then he looked at her and smirked again. He pushed her against the opposite wall. Holding her hands above her head as he pinned her against it. He kissed her roughly.
He raised an eyebrow, curious to what she was referring to. “Missing one key component? And that would be???” He placed his arm on the table. While he set his elbow on the table and rest his head on the back of his hand.
Piper
After she kissed him, he kissed her back before he turned them around. Pushing her against the opposite wall, hands pinned above her head. The whole time he had his smirk on his face. She pouted but her pouts were met with his rough kisses. She moaned softly against his rough kisses. She wanted him again.
Ash
She watched as he raised an eyebrow. He seemed very curious which made her smile. “Missing one key component? And that would be???” She watched him rest his head on his hand. She smiled at him “You it’s missing you baby… If you were there it would be the absolute best of both worlds.” She giggled.
Albert
He smirked into the kiss as she moaned. He loved hearing her moan. He could tell she wanted him again. He pulled back slightly from the kiss. “Want me to stop the elevator so we can have some fun… Just you and I?” He asked as he still had her hands pinned.
Jennifer
He raised an eyebrow curiously. Wondering if he had gone to the same school as Piper, would she still have that guy around her? Then his mind went to Chase. They had shared a few actions together, sneaking away from classes and activities to do other stuff.
He swallowed hard. Glancing up at Piper, he smiled playfully at her. “If only I was able to attend that school, but unfortunately they never replied to any of my messages.” He shrugged.
Piper
She pouted as he pulled away from the kiss. “Want me to stop the elevator so we can have some fun… Just you and I?” She nodded her head. “I… didn’t know that was an option.” She blushed.

Piper sat there looking at him as he raised an eyebrow. She really wondered what he was thinking. She watched him swallow hard before looking back up at her and speaking. “If only I was able to attend that school, but unfortunately they never replied to any of my messages.” Then he shrugged. She looked up at him. “Yeah.. just saying it would be awesome if you were there. I know we can’t change anything now.” She giggled “At least we can meet here and see each other.” Then the food came.
Ash smirked as they finished and started the elevator again. Then they exited the elevator and he took her hand in his as he interlocked their fingers. He lead her to the cafe. They were seated. They ended up right next to a blonde guy who he had seen around school. The guy was with a brunette that had two different eye colors. The server got their drink order and handed them menus. “What are you thinking of getting baby?”
He smiled, happy that they could in deed meet here to see each other and to hang out. The waiter came and placed the food down in front of them. He thanked them as they left. Turning his attention back to Piper. “Shall we?” He picked up his fork but waited for her to take bite into her food before he dug into his.
Piper
She looked over at Ash and smiled brightly. “I’m thinking a salad. They guy’s salad next to us looks really good.”
Ash
Piper smiled as Albert smiled at her. “l am.” She said before grabbing her fork and starting to eat.
He glanced over at Albert. He knew him because he was Jax’s roommate. “My lady can have whatever she wants.” He smiled at her.
He glanced over at the couple besides them and quickly noticed Ash. He had heard all sorts of ugly rumors about the guy and how he was nothing more than a womanizer, but he had also heard that he was dating some kind of hippy sl-t as well.
Over the few months of online learning, Ash had came to his room to hang out with his roommate, Jax, on a daily. Though he never really stuck around to know him. He really didn’t care. Turning his attention back to Piper and smiled before he started to eat.
Piper
She giggled as she looked over the menu. There was a small selection of foods that she could eat. But she wasn’t going to let it stop her from enjoying food food. “I think a salad and some tater tots will be find.”
Ash
Piper was eating her food. She was only glancing up at Albert every so often. She had seen he was looking at the table next to them. So, she glanced over too. Then she saw the girl at the table. She recognized her. It was Jennifer. They had met at the beginning of school. They were both lost and bumped into each other. She then felt Albert glance at her. She looked over at him and smiled. “This food is so good.” She said with a smile. “How is your salad baby?”
Albert
Ash smiled at Jennifer. “I think a salad and some tater tots will be find.” Ash looked over the menu. Luckily Ash had told the hostess that someone else would be joining them. So they were at a table for four. He looked over the menu to see what Jax would eat. He didn’t want to order Jax’s drink till he got here. Ash knew how much Jax hated watered down drinks. “Then that’s what you will have baby.” He smiled at her.
Jax woke up in bed and alone. He wondered where they had went off to. He looked around and knew they weren’t here when he didn’t see Ash’s wallet on the table by the door anymore. He slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. He cleaned himself off then got dressed. Once he was dressed he looked at his phone and saw the message from Ash. He figured he would take his time to go there. He walked into the hall and waited for the elevator.
He smiled at her as he reached his free and across the table to take hers, interlocking his fingers with hers. “The salad is a bit plain. But it’ll work for a snack. I take it you are enjoying your meal?” He glanced over at Ash and the girl for a split moment. He did have to admit they looked like a good couple together.
Piper
She smiled as she leaned her head on her hands, just looking at how concentrated he was on his task on hand. “How is your salad baby?” She recognized that voice from anywhere. It was Pipers. She turned her head and saw that she was also here, but she wasn’t alone. Piper was with some guy here. She felt a little bit confused. Wasn’t she dating Ian? Was she cheating behind Ian’s back? Were they broken up? She had so many questions with no answers.
“Hey Pip. How’s it going? It’s crazy to see you’re here as well. What are you doing here? Oh by the way…*” She looked around as if searching for someone. “I don’t see Ian around. Did he actually let you go somewhere without him? That’s a shocker.”
Ash & Piper
She had smiled back at Albert. She was really enjoying this day. She watched him reach his free hand across the table which grabbed hers. She blushed as he interlocked their fingers. “The salad is a bit plain. But it’ll work for a snack. I take it you are enjoying your meal?” She was just about to answer him when she heard Jennifer speak to her. She looked over at Jennifer shocked by what she said. This would probably cause some kind of argument between Albert and her. “Hey Pip. How’s it going? It’s crazy to see you’re here as well. What are you doing here? Oh by the way… I don’t see Ian around. Did he actually let you go somewhere without him? That’s a shocker.”
Piper just smiled at her at her first. She wasn’t sure what to say. She took a deep breath before calmly talking to Jennifer “Hey Jenn, it’s going pretty good. I’m eating. isn’t that what we do at cafe’s?” She giggled. Then she remembered the rest of what Jennifer said. “Well… You don’t see him because he isn’t here. Not sure what he is doing, and I don’t really care… I go where I want when I want… Nobody owns me Jennifer.” She said with a look like please don’t say anything else about Ian but just kept a smile on her face at the same time. She couldn’t believe that Jennifer has just said that.
She then looked back over to Albert. “These potato skins are really good. Sorry that your salad is plain.” She smiled at him. She really hope Jennifer and her big forgetful mouth didn’t ruin whatever surprise Albert had in store for her. Truth was… She was madly in love with Albert. Yes technically she was still dating Ian, but she didn’t know… That Albert actually felt the same was as she did. She had plans to break up with Ian.
Albert & Jennifer
Ash just sat there watching Jennifer. He wasn’t sure why she was seemingly calling this poor girl out. It seemed like she was on a date. Why would Jennifer who just cheated on him wiht his best friend the other night… Rat on someone… He was shocked by this.
Jennifer
Jax had gotten on the elevator and rode it down. He walked past the girl at the front desk and winked at her. “See you when you get off.” Then he walked into the cafe. He snuck up behind Jennifer as she was talking to the girl next to her. He walked up and sat down. "So… What did I miss you two?’ He smiled at them then kissed each of them on the cheek.
Jennifer
He sat there quietly between the two friends, slowly glancing up at Ash as if to say ‘what the f-ck man.’ Turning his attention back to the conversation at hand. He was curious by what this girl meant.
“These potato skins are really good. Sorry that your salad is plain.” He turned his attention back to Piper, gently pulling his hand away from hers as he sat back into his seat. Smiling gently at her, “yeah…umm.” It felt like he had a knot in the back of the back of his throat. He turned his head to the side as he brought his fist up to his mouth before he forced a cough or two out. It did not help, but at least he tried. Turning his head back to look at Piper, he smiled. He wasn’t entirely sure what to say to this anymore.
Piper
She was just asking out of curiosity but Piper had gave her a smile that basically told her to STFU. Then it hit her. She was indeed cheating. Jennifer smiled apologetic to her. She really didn’t mean to, her curiosity really did get the best of her. “*I’m glad. Anyways do you know when mr. Wilford will post everyones grade? It seems he’s been distracted lately…”
Piper
Piper’s heart sunk in her chest as he pulled his hand away from hers. he sat back in his seat as he smiled at her gently. “yeah…umm.” Piper literally felt her heart breaking. He took all over her not to start crying. She wasn’t sure what he was going to say, but she had suddenly lost her appetite. She pushed her plate away from her. Then Jennifer said “I’m glad. Anyways do you know when mr. Wilford will post everyones grade? It seems he’s been distracted lately…” Piper rolled her eyes. The damage was already done. She looked to Jennifer as a tear rolled down the cheek away from Albert’s view. “I do not know. Should be soon though. I would say no later than Monday.” She turned back towards Albert, but she didn’t look at him. All of a sudden she felt sick. “I’ll be right back. I think I’m gonna be sick.” She said as she got up and ran to the bathroom. Her nerves being all messed up maybe her sick. She got into the bathroom and threw up.
Albert & Jennifer
Ash sighed as Albert looked at him weird. He turned his attention back to Jennifer. “Baby… Why don’t you leave the couple along to have a nice date? You can talk to her when y’all get back to school love.” He said to her inserting his dominance. He gave her a look for her to know he meant business.
Jennifer
She had gotten up and ran over to the bathroom. He felt like whatever just had happened, was partly his fault. He sighed as he pulled out his wallet to put the money on the table before he got up and walked over to the bathroom. He leaned against the wall, waiting for her to come out.
When she finally got out, she was about to walk past him, he figured she hadn’t really seen him there or was expecting him there. He gently yet firmly grabbed her arm and pulled her in to his body, wrapping her into a slightly tight hug. “You okay? Please talk to me.” He rested his head on her shoulder. He figured if she couldn’t see his face nor he with hers, that it might help a little.
Piper
Ash had started to talk, but it was his tone that really hit her. She kept a smile on her face as she turned her attention back to Ash, even though she felt like lowering her head, she kept it held high. “Y-you are right.” She turned her head to say sorry but the damage was already done and they were no longer there. She turned her head back over to Ash, but noticed Jax had came in and joined them, kissing both before he took his seat. “So…What did i miss you two?” Her face lit up a bit."Not much. We were just deciding what to get. How did you nap?"
Ash & Jax
Piper had thrown up. She went to the sink and washed her mouth out. She stood there staring at herself in the mirror. She wondered how she went from what she was to this standing in front of herself. Then she lifted her head high as she dabbed the tears off of her face. She fixed her makeup before walking out slowly. She was heading back to the table when she felt an arm grabbed her gently but firm. Pulling her into a tight hug as the person spoke. It wasn’t until she heard the voice that she realized it was Albert. “You okay? Please talk to me.” She melted into his embrace. Just having his arms around her in this moment calmed her rattled nerves. She buried her face in his chest. “I’m okay… What were you going to say back there Albert?” She said as she slowly lifted her face off his chest to look at him. She loved this man so much it wasn’t even funny. Is this what true love feels like… This aching in your heart when something happens. She then rested her head back on his chest as if she knew he needed a moment. She gave him a moment to talk. She wanted to say more, but she figured she should let him finish talking first.
Albert
Ash sighed when the girl and Albert walked away. He couldn’t believe Jennifer had done that. However, it was said and done. There was nothing that would change what has already happened. “Y-you are right.” He smiled at her. He knew she felt bad, but that was Jennifer. Then Jax asked what he missed. Jennifer had missed the server coming and getting the order. Ash chuckled “Actually, my love… I already ordered while you were talking with the girl, and I ordered for you too Jax.” He smiled at them both.
Jennifer
HE smiled as Jennifer’s face lit up. He made him feel like he was important to someone. "Not much. We were just deciding what to get. How did you nap?" He smiled as he went to answer but was cut off by Ash saying “Actually, my love… I already ordered while you were talking with the girl, and I ordered for you too Jax.” Jax smiled at them both “Well… Firstly, I slept pretty good. Secondly, thanks man.. What did you get me?” He asked with a smile as the server came and got his drink order.
Jennifer
He held her close, feeling her relaxing a bit in his arms. She buried her face in his chest, he felt his heart skip a beat. “I’m okay… What were you going to say back there Albert?” He swallowed as he looked away. He wasn’t entirely sure what he was going to say and now that she was asking about it, he just wasn’t even sure how to tell her he had nothing to say. “I honestly do not know what i was about to say.”
Piper
She looked over at Ash when he chuckled. “Actually, my love… I already ordered while you were talking with the girl, and i ordered for you too Jax.” She bit her lower lip as her eyes lingered on Ash for a moment. “Well… Firstly, I slept pretty good. Secondly, thanks man.. What did you get me?” She looked between the two for a moment before she started to giggle a little.
Ash & Jax
She felt that he swallowed hard as he looked away. Her heart was beating so fast as she waited for him to say anything. She was preparing herself for the worst. She let go of a breath she didn’t realize she was holding as she heard his voice “I honestly do not know what i was about to say.” She looked up at him. She gently moved one hand to his face as she slowly turned it to face him. “Albert. I’m in love with you… You are the one I want… I want a future with you… Even if you end up having to go back to Germany. I can’t and won’t go back to being just a friend after what we did.”
Albert
Ash looked at Jennifer puzzled when she giggled. Then he turned his attention back to Jax. “I got you the hamburger steak, no mushrooms, no onions. Just the way you like it bro.” He said as he reached his hand out to hold Jennifer’s hand.
Jax chuckled at everything. Then he listened as Ash spoke. “Oh nice. Thanks for remembering>” He winked at Ash
