“BLT sounds prefect baby.” He couldn’t help but to smile a bit. “I’m glad you think so as well.” Picking up the nearby fork, he began flipping the bacon over to the other side. “Need any help cutting the tomatoes or lettuce?” Using the fork, he pointed towards the counter near the sink. “Nope. I already got that covered, my dear. All you need to do is focus on resting up and relaxing. And maybe… If you get lucky, maybe Onyx will finally come out of hidding. He’s my cat. Typically he doesn’t like strangers.”
Piper stood there smiling as she waited for Albert to answer. She watched him grab a fork and flip the bacon. Then she watched as he used the fork to the counter near the sink. She looked over there as he spoke. He had already done it all. He told her the only thing she needed to focus on was resting and relaxing. “Well, I would love to meet Onyx.” She said as she sat at the table waiting for lunch to be done.
Albert chuckled. “So would everyone else who has visited here. I think… If I recall, he has only shown himself once when my great aunt had visited from the hospital…” He paused as he recalled the last time, he saw her. She had visited for a brief visit, and sadly that was her last visit with him. A bitter sweet smile formed on his face. “Anyways, he is sometimes hard to see… I swear it’s like living with a ghost as a roommate. Oh by the way he is a long black cat. He is also slightly bigger than the average size cat… Not calling him fat, no haha.. He’s just taller and bigger built…”
Piper smiled as Albert talked about the cat. She really hoped she would be able to see him. She nodded her head at him. “Gotcha. I can’t wait to taste your bacon.” She giggled.
He rolled his eyes before removing the bacon off of the frying pan and onto a paper towel that covered a plate. "And what makes you think you will get to tastemy bacon, missy?’ He placed the frying pan in the sink and moved over to the stuff on the counter. Slowly he began to put the BLT together. “Last I checked… The last time someone gave you a taste of bacon, you ended up pregnant.” He teased playfully. He had somewhat gotten over the fact that she was pregnant with either his or Ian’s kid.. Either way it didn’t change his feelings.
She giggled when he asked her what makes her think she will get to taste his bacon. She watched him put the pan in the sink. Then he moved over to build the BLT’s. “Well… I have already tasted that bacon of yours.” She teased back. She looked at him and smiled. “Plus, shouldn’t your girlfriend be able to taste your bacon anytime she wants?” She smiled and winked at him.
Jonas looked out of the window near the chair he was sitting on. The only thing he was wearing was the pants from his suit and the long necklace dangling from his neck. He bounced his leg up and down as he bit his fingernails. This would be the first family party he would be attending after two years. He never really spent Christmas with his dad’s family, and the last time he talked to his dad well, it didn’t end well.
He heard a notification on his phone and checked it. It was his date Bria Laverne, who he had met on Tinder three days ago. She texted him and said that she was going to be ready soon.
"Thank you sweetheart."Bria took the pearl necklace Jonas gave her as a birthday present. “You’re welcome.” He kissed her cheek and walked away, heading to the door. Bria’s smile turned into a devilish smirk.
Bria entered the mansion hand in hand with Jonas. His grandfather’s house was extravagant, just like she was expecting. When they greeted some of his family members, Jonas stayed to talk to his dad. Bria decided to slip away, making the excuse that she had to use the bathroom.
She walked down the long hallway, her heels clicking against the hardwood floor. She took the lockpick out of her purse and went to one of the doors where she used the pick to open it.
As soon as she got in, she started looking for some things to steal and some stray money. Maybe even a safe. If that room didn’t work she would go to another, then another.
Blaire finished getting dressed and stood in front of the mirror. She sprayed a bit more perfume on her neck and put some lotion on her legs. She smiled at herself. She had to admit that she looked good in a white dress. She wondered if Booker would like it or what kind of perfume he enjoyed smelling. That was when she heard someone knock on the door. "Oh crap!"She brushed away a few fly away strands and walked to the door, then she opened it. Booker was standing there looking as dashing as ever. “Do you like what you see?”
He chuckled as he reached over to grab two plates. “I believe the doctor would say something along the line of… Eat what you are craving, it’s good for the baby. Or something like that, I’m sure.” Setting the BLTs onto the two plates, he turned and walked over to the table where Piper had sat down at. Placing a plate in front of her and walking over to sit in the next empty seat. Setting his plate down only to grab the sandwich on his plate. Bring it up to his lips to take a bite out of the sandwich. Humming slightly in enjoyment.
Piper smiled as she watched Albert grab the plates. She listened to him talk as he walked over with the plates in hand. She nodded her head to what he said then he set a plate in front of her. He then went and sat in the empty seat across from her. “I think we will find out what the doctors say when we get home.” She giggled as she looked at him then down at the sandwich. “Did you put any sauce on it… like mayo, mustard?” She asked as she looked at the BLT trying to tell.
Beau had been dropped off at school mere hours before. He would be starting at West Nottingham after the winter break. His grandfather had recommended that Beau go and at least get moved in early maybe spend some time there to try and make friends before coming home for the holidays. Beau had been a bit reluctant about it. His grandfather wouldn’t be alone on the ranch there were plenty of ranch hands but city life even if it wasn’t a big city was a hard sell for Beau. He had reluctantly agreed though and had officially moved in nearly three hours ago. He was now wandering around the town because he had realized that he needed a few things to be able to finish unpacking his things into his new room. Beau had been walking around town with his worn barn coat, beat up cowboy boots and hat pulled low when he rounded a corner and suddenly a man who was texting came out of nowhere and knocked Beau to the ground. Beau was a bit off put because God maybe the city was really different. Beau had begun to reach for his hat which had fallen off when the guy started to talk. The guy apologized. “Its ok Im fine and I’ve been through worse. You are about 13,000 less pounds than the last thing that knocked me to the ground so I’m fine really.” Beau picked up his hat and accepted the guy’s hand to help him up then wiped some of the snow off his jeans. Beau really didnt want wet jeans the rest of the day. Beau realized the guy had to be about the same age as him and wondered if this guy went to West Nottingham as well. Maybe Beau could at least meet someone even if it didn’t end up being a friendship. “Hey you go to West Nottingham?” Beau asked honestly just curious and wondering if he could manage to connect with anyone here. @ChayChay05
Booker counted himself lucky to have ever been invited to an intimate Christmas party with such an influential family. He doesn’t consider the family to be all that, in fact he has critiques about each and every one of the Westborough and Lockhart family member. He also gives them credit where credit is due, of course. However, where Blaire is concerned he draws a blank. He thinks she is amazing, elegant, above her family and gorgeous withouth much effort. However, he doesn’t know if it’s a fact she’s amazing or if he only feels it because he’s so drawn to her. He doesn’t question it though, he doesn’t want to ruin a good thing by thinking there must be something wrong with her when she’s attracted to him and have huge regrets later on. “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” He tells himself, in case she doesn’t turn out as amazing as she seems or if she eventually finds somebody better.
Knowing this party will be filled with rich people, on a holiday where people tend to show off, Booker knew his classic black suit which he wears to every ocassion wouldn’t be fit for the occassion. Thankfully, he was keen on perserving historical items and he still had his grandfather’s old beige suit from the 60s. Hoping it would match Blaire’s white dress, he put it on, put on some perfume and put a bit of gel in his hair to have a slick hairstyle. He arrived at her door bang on time and banged on the door. He heard rushed footsteps to the door and he thought he’d finally catch her unaware, but alas as she opened the door she looked as if she was prepared for this moment her whole life. “Do you like what you see?” She asked seductively. Booker looked her up and down, surpressing a blush but letting a smile slip. “Let’s put it mildly. If we don’t leave for the party right this minute, you might not have anything to wear for it.”
Elias smiled at the guy as he spoke. The guy talked about the last thing that knocked him over. Elias checked him out, Elias’s eyes trailed down the guys body and back up to his face. He noticed the cowboy boots and the cowboy hat. Elias smirked as he spoke “Was it a horse that knocked you down last?” He asked while checking the guy out again. Elias couldn’t help but notice how hot the guy was and it was distracting for sure. “I go to Saint Andrew’s Academy, but I have friends that go to West Nottingham.” He said with his charming smile.
It’s been a few days since her dad found out she was expelled from West Nottingham and he enrolled her in St. Andrew’s sadly but things have calmed down a little soo it wasn’t as tense. Her dad, and her arrived to the family party, Bekah as far as she knew was coming in a little bit, she was babysitting so she got to come a little later and she was not sure if she was going to bring Reggie or not. She stood and talked to her family members and some other people that were there. She saw a female that she did not know at all and felt off about her from the beginning. Once she saw the girl leave she waited a few minutes then excused herself and went and walked around the mansion more n a mission to see wat she was up to but she also just needed some space and air to breath herself. Elena eventually came across the girl and hid behind a thick pillar so luckily no one could see her. She sneakily watched the girl and saw her get something out of her purse and put it in the door and got in. Once she was in the room she waited a few seconds and walked up to the door.
She stayed at the door quietly for a minute and saw the girl just standing but looking around like she was going to steal something. “This is a big mansion huh? Perfect place to steal something, the home owners would never notice something is gone.” she smiled slightly at the girl. Honestly Elena was not sure how she was gong to play this yet like if she is all for this and to help her for now thing or tell her that her family owns this mansion. She also knows if she does act like she is going to steal or good with something being stolen and the girl was caught she would also mention Elena and obviously she would never steal or be okay with people stealing from her family but with how her track record is with her dad right now she would have a feeling that he would believe that she is stealing from her own family.
“I think we will find out what the doctors say when we get home.” He frowned a little. Not understanding why, she didn’t want to go in and find out now. “Did you put any sauce on it… like mayo, mustard?”
He swallowed the biteful of food he had taken and nodded. “I only put mayo on it… Is it not to your liking?”
She looked at him puzzled when he frowned. She wasn’t sure if her insurance was covered by doctors out here. That’s the only reason she suggested them waiting to go to the doctor’s when they get back. She would go to the doctor if he knew of one. “Do you know any baby doctors out here? Plus what if my insurance doesn’t cover it because I’m out of the country.” She smiled as he answered the question about the food. She giggled before talking. “I haven’t taken a bite yet. I didn’t want it to be dry. I don’t really like dry bread.”
Beau chuckled a little when the guy had asked if the last thing that had knocked him over was a horse. “No good guess but it was a bull. Rodeo bull to be exact.” Beau shrugged a little and tipped his hat. “Im Beau by the way Beau Rylan.” Beau could tell the guy was checking him out and it made him blush slightly but thankfully it was cold enough to be played off as just redness from the cold. Beau looked over the guy too he was slightly taller than Beau which was a pleasant surprise but he looked much more lean than Beau. It also kind of shocked Beau that this guy was looking him over like that because back home Beau had never gotten many looks and those he did were often quickly ended because of his personality. Beau was shaken from his thoughts when the guy answered the question he had asked. “Saint Andrews?” Beau asked softly he didn’t know that there was another school in the area unless Saint Andrews was the local public school but it certainly didn’t sound like the name of a public school. @ChayChay05
Bria quickly turned around when she heard the sound of the door and someone’s voice. She was just about to crouch down again and go through the dresser by the bed. She saw that it was Elena. She could recognize that face from anywhere. She slowly walked towards her, the sound of her heels clicking against the brown floor echoing against the walls. She stood in front of her and smiled.
“I know that…we don’t know each other very well but I do know of you and your…history…” She paused and gave another smile, one that was slightly crooked at the edges. "You know what Elena, I am trying to steal stuff - but guess what, no one is going to care if you told them because of your little record. I could just say that you were trying to blame it on me. That little story will go poof."Her voice was calm, calculated. Even. “And don’t even bother telling Jonas. His dumb boy brain could only conceive of what I have between my legs, even though he hardly knows me. He will automatically think it was you. Especially because he knows his cousin is a criminal.” She smiled again. “So, what were you saying again?”
Elias nodded his head when the guy said it was a bull. He always thought cowboys were hot. This one definitely was very hot. Elias couldn’t help but smirk when the guy said his name. “A hot name for a hot cowboy… I’m Elias but everyone calls me Eli… It’s nicer to meet you Beau.” He said not realizing that neither one of them let go of the others hand. Elias chuckled when he questioned the school name. “Yeah, it’s a boarding school about 45 minutes away. Technically… it’s in a different state. West Nottingham is here in Maryland, and my school is in Delaware, but they aren’t that far apart. Maybe one day you could come hangout with me there.” He offered with a small smile.
Blaire smiled at his cheeky joke. She ran her hand up his vest and grabbed the top of his tie. The silk fabric felt good between her fingers. "Well, if we do that, then I’d have to take even longer to get ready again, and I’m sure you wouldn’t want that?"She smiled again and bit her lip. “My mother is going to love you.” She said while walking back into her room.“You look so dashing and radiant today. OH! Speaking of that-” She skipped to the round chair in front of her vanity and picked her a blue velvet robe that was covering a small white box. She tossed the robe on the bed and picked up the white box. With a bright smile she walked over to Booker and opened the box, taking out the Christmas gift and held it up for him to see. “I got you a vintage watch from the 1970s. The previous owner of the watch was a director or something - At least, that was what the lady who sold it told me.”
