Madi nodded her head as he made the comment of him trying to change the present an future. Madi also told him everything that went on the last few years and he was surprised that he paid off a judge and that he hit her. “Yup he did because I was talking back to him when he called me ungrateful. And I found out I have a little sister who is 3, that is why he left Joy and I. But I brought her here, and that night he hit me I called the police and he and his fiancé got arrested for that and the bribery.”

They then got to the coffee place and got in line and ordered the stuff. Once they did that they sat down at a table. “So wanna tell me why you did what you did to be back when we first dated and then the Halloween part?”

He listened as she spoke. “Wow. that is crazy for sure, but glad she is safe with you and Joy.” He said as he smiled at her. Then they got to the coffee shop. He held the door opened for her again. Once she walked in, so did he. They waited in line and ordered their coffees. Once they got the coffees they sat down at a table. Then once they sat down she asked him if he wanted to tell her why. He took a deep breath.

“First off, I want you to know… It wasn’t really about you. I learned that in therapy. It was issues I had that should have never been taken out on you and I’m truly sorry that I took my issues out on you” He paused for a moment as he gulped. He had never told anyone other then the therapist what he was about to tell her. “So, I don’t know if you remember how I used to always have bruises back in school. Well, my dad used to beat me for no reason. My therapist said that is where my anger comes from. She said that she thinks when I did what I did. It was because I had been drinking and thinking about what my dad did. She thinks I was like in a state of mind where I thought I was beating my dad. Again… I am so sorry.”

He paused again for a moment. Trying to gather himself before continuing the conversation. He took a deep breath before speaking again. “Also, when i was younger. I had a distant family member who… Well let’s just say they did things that to me that family shouldn’t do to kids ever…” He really hoped she knew what he meant. Saying it in therapy was hard enough, but saying it in public… Where others could hear. That was different. He wasn’t ready for that. He still couldn’t believe he was finally opening up to her.

They sat down and after Madi asked her question she sat back a little and drank her coffee. Jax said he was happy to know that her little sister is safe. Then he started to answer her question which she could see was not easy for him and it looked like he wanted to be honest with her but at the same time not tell her everything, but could tell as he explained that he did in fact tell her everything including his family member and what they did to him.

"Jax you don’t have to keep apologizing, I know your sorry I can tell and I mean I can tell you mean it this time unlike years ago. I am sorry to hear that your dad and family member did that to you. It sucks to know that the people that are supposed to love and care for you and are supposed to protect you are the ones that hurt you the most, and leave lasting damage on the person. With what happened to you especially from your dad, you were mad at the world and him all the time that you needed to let out steam and obviously you couldn’t hurt him so you hurt the thing that was just right there which ended up being me. Also you knew I probably would not fight back and even if I did I would end up losing. It was like PTSD in a way, and all you saw was red. Also because you were so hurt you felt like you could not trust anyone especially the people you were closest with because you were afraid you would get hurt again whether it be physically or mentally hurt.

Jax listened to Madi talk. He was shocked that she was so understanding about everything. He still felt like $h^t and planned to spend the rest of his days to make it up to her if she would let him. “Yeah, you have a point there.” He wasn’t sure what else to say. He had paid for their coffees. Not because he thought this was a date, but because it was the gentleman thing to do.

Jax paid for the coffee’s and they went and sat down so they could talk more. “Yes I do.” She said jokingly and chuckled a little. “Can I ask you a personal and kinda odd question?”

Madi just gave him a little smile like to say thanks kind of. Before she asked she took a sip of her coffee, it was more of a procrastinating tactic as she was unsure if she really wanted to ask this and thought about it. She then put her coffee back down and looked at him and just decided to ask. “Are you ever scared of doing the same thing to your kids if you ever have any. I mean it seems like ab**e is a pattern in your family. Obviously people can break the pattern so not saying you would but like are you scared that you could hurt your kids?”

He waited boredly on Isaiah to say something or anything really. His mind wondered back to his phone, curious to know who had messaged him back. Then his mind began to wonder, about a rumor he had heard from his roommate. The dude had said something about the biggest sl-t in the guy’s group was some dude named Jax… Jax…

It was a name Cole hadn’t heard before and thought it was unique in a way. Part of him wondered if he should try his luck on the already known manwh-re or just avoid that until his rep was just as bad. He chuckled at the thought.

Completely forgetting that Isaiah was here with him, Cole pulled out his phone out and opened up the message. The first messaged popped up from some dude named Koda.

Haha, cute line – but I’m sitting this adventure out. Also not into dudes so please don’t message again.

“How disappointing.” He thought to himself as he scrolled onto the next messaged.

Sure is a perfect night to explore what’s under the stars. Name a place and time and I will see ya there and see what you are all about

He glanced up to see who had agreed to his meetup… Some dude named Colsen. He didn’t recall sending a messaged to him but then again he did do a massive text to a bunch of random men, so it did check out.

A small smile played on the corner of his lips as he scrolled to the next person who had messaged him. Elias.

It’s a boring night indeed. If you aren’t busy and want to meet up. . . I’m down.

“Well, well, well… Two snagged and one fled.” Mumbling to himself as he debated which of the two, he should spend his time with. He didn’t want to chose one over the other in case the other was…better than the other. Letting out a sigh as he rested his head on the back of his hand, lost in thought while looking off into the distance.

After a while, he decided to play the dangerous game and message Jax though he realized he would need to do a bit of online snooping. Glancing back to his phone, he opened up his social media and began the long search of the only name he knew, Jax

“. . .” After some time had passed, he had finally found the right person and sent him a private messaged.

Hey handsome. Tonight’s forcast says snow, would you like me to light a fire within you tonight?

After hitting send, he scrolled over to the other messages and decided to try his luck on Colsen just as a precaution, while leaving the other one on read.

If the stars are aligned right, possibly tonight? Say at the hotel at the center of Mavel st.?

As Colsen was chillen and waiting to see if the guy Cole would respond back or not, his phone finally went off and he saw the message from the app he was using and Cole told him at a hotel on Mavel St. He knew he needed to look good tonight.

Sounds good, I will see ya soon!

With this Colsen went to his closet and picked out normal but nice clothes and then he went to take a shower. Once he took a shower he changed and freshened up a bit and put on some cologne.

Once it was night time and the time they were going to meet, Colsen got his phone and room key and walked out the door locking his room and then walked to the hotel. Once he got there he messaged the guy

With Madi after new years

Jax listened to Madi’s question. He could tell she really didn’t want ot ask or know how to ask at first. He listened to everything she said. “Honestly, I would say yes… I am scared of losing my temper, but I don’t feel I would do that… I mean… like maybe before I started therapy, but now… I think as long as I keep it up and resolve all my own issues before I have a kid or even get in a relationship… I think I will be fine. I don’t plan on doing it, but I’m sure my dad didn’t plan on doing it to me either. So… I will walk away if I start getting upset, and I will cool down then revisit the issue.”

Jax had been drinking at the party. It had kind of ended and most of everyone left. Jax was walking around campus with a drink in hand when his phone went off. He pulled it from his pocket and saw a message from a guy named Cole. He read it.

Hey handsome. Tonight’s forcast says snow, would you like me to light a fire within you tonight?

Jax looked at the message and raised an eyebrow. Who is this He thought to himself. Then he thought it was just someone on a fake account pulling a prank on him. However, he was feeling pretty drunk right now. So he reread the message before typing something out.

Hey cutie… Not sure if you could light a fire within me, but your more the welcome to try. I’m not as easy as you might have heard.

Hit chuckled to himself as he hit send. He was sure if anyone saw him they would think he was crazy.

Madi understood where he was coming from, if she was in his shoes she would be scared to that she may do that to her kids but its good that he would still work the program and do things the healthier and safer way.

Liv had walked so nobody could see her as she lite a jo^nt. She was enjoying it and about half way done when someone she didn’t want to talk to showed up. She couldn’t believe he followed her.

Jason had excused himself from the best man duties for a moment. He left James and Jacob with Lance. He told them that he would be right back. He walked outside and he saw Liv walking into the garden. He smirked as he followed her. She was alone and not with her girlfriend. He thought this was the prefect time to try and talk with her. He walked up behind her. “I see you brought the good stuff.” He said as he checked her out.

Liv scoffed at him. “Why does it matter what I brought? What do you even want Jason? I haven’t talked to you hardly since that night… So, what makes you think I want to talk to you now?” She huffed out.

Jason just smiled “You know you miss me L, no need to act like you don’t still think about me. You also know you enjoyed that night,”

Liv looked at him “How is me crying, and telling you to stop and no… having fun? What world do you live in Jason? You are the reason I like girls in the first place. You know… back in the I did have a crush on you. Then you took something from me that wasn’t right of you to take Jason. So, no… I didn’t enjoy that night. That night changed me”

Jason couldn’t believe what he was hearing form her. How could someone who had a crush on him not be happy that he gave himself to them. He was always in love with Liv for as long as he could remember. “L, I… I love you… I have for a long time.”

Liv was about to respond when she heard someone close by. She wasn’t sure who it was at this moment. She took another few puffs before speaking. “Jason, in no way did I enjoy that night. Maybe if you didn’t force yourself on me that night… Maybe if it would have happened naturally it would have been different. However, you didn’t do that. You came into the bathroom as I was brushing my teeth. You kissed me which I was okay with, but what happened when James shut the door and closed us in… That wasn’t okay.”

She was fighting back tears at this point. “L, what are you talking about? I shut the door. So, we could be alone. I thought you were enjoying the kissing and wanted more.” He said to her, he was super drunk that night.

She couldn’t help what happened next. “JASON, I WAS CRYING AND SAYING NO!” She screamed not caring who heard.

Madi could tell Jax was not sure about his answer. She knows it is a sore spot for him, it is for her to but she at least wanted him to know a little more about the kid. Yes what he did hurt the kid, but she felt like part of his recovery is finding out a little more information, and she knows technically she doesn’t have to tell him anything, she wanted him to make her a person and humanizing her not just think of her as just a baby. “Well it was a girl. Her name is Kara Joy Noel.”

I swear if I had known… I think I could have stopped myself from doing it.” He cringed just at the thought of what happened. He still hated himself for it. He felt he would hate himself for the rest of his life for what he did.

Cole smiled to himself when Colsen messaged back, agreeing to the place. “I guess I shall go see him.” He thought to himself as he hopped off of the wooden table and began walking back to his dorm room.

Walking out of his shower, he picked up his phone to change the song that was playing. Quickly he noticed a messaged from Jax . After a minute of drying his hair off with a towel in the other hand, he opened the messaged.

Hey cutie… Not sure if you could light a fire within me, but your more than welcome to try. I’m not as easy as you might have heard.

Cole smirked, liking the challenge given to him. Though he was a bit sad he’d have to pass this challenge up for the night, there were other nights he could go for it. He sent a message back.

Is that a challenge, big guy? How about we do dinner? Candlelight dinner in the back of my truck, out of town where the stars shine even brighter? Say tomorrow night?

Cole chuckled as he hit send and placed his phone down to finish drying the rest of himself off.

skipping time to much later

He was pulling up into the parking lot of the hotel when his phone went off. “. . .” Ignoring the phone, he pulled into an empty spot before killing the engine. Grabbing the few things, he would be needing, keys, wallet, phone and a small backpack. He moved the phone to his other hand as he got out of his truck to read the message as he swung his bag over his shoulder. A small smile formed on the corner of his lips. “Can’t wait to see what you have to offer…” He mused to himself as he placed his phone in his back pocket.

Before closing his car door, he lowered his head slightly and sniffed his clothes. He could still smell the musky forest cologne he had put on shortly after his shower. He smiled a little, “Well… It’s now or never I suppose.” Closing the truck door and making his way into the hotel building.

Right off the bat, he saw the handsome guy sitting on the sofa in the waiting space. Cole bit the inner part of his cheek to fight the urge to smile. The man was just way too good looking, and good-looking men tend to have some experience in what he was after. He decided to walk over to the front desk and pay for the room before walking over to the man. He smiled as he offered his hand out for him. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Colsen. Shall we?”

He sat and waited for Cole. Then Cole came up to him not long after he sat down so he was not waiting for awhile. The guy had a shirt ad a black jacket on and jeans and the style really fit him well. Cole then offerered his hand out for Colsen and Colsen reached out his hand to. Cole then was gave his pleasantries and asked if he was ready. “Pleasure to meet you to Cole. Yes i’m ready let’s go.” He smiled at him. He was so ready for this and he liked that there are no strigs attached. He followed Cole as they left. “I like your outfit it looks good on you.”

Madi gave him a small smile. She reached her arm and hand over his way and her had was on top of his. I know Jax, and it was not easy, sometimes I still struggle with what happened and how I couldn’t of protected her better no offense. Jax even if you knew no offense your anger is really bad to the point where you still would have done what you did even if you knew. I am not trying to make you feel worse cause i’m not but you need to know the truth. Thanks, I decided Joy for the middle name because my mom is one of the strongest people, she dealt with a lot of things, she was there for me always especially after sperm donor left us. She is very important in my life so. I am sorry to that I lost her, I wish I didn’t. I would be seeing her face pretty soonish if she was still there. I always wonder how she would look and what her personality would be like. But I know she is watching over us."

He was annoyed by Pipers’ text message. Saying they needed to talk only to blow him off. Who did she think she was? He didn’t like the attitude that he was getting from her, even if it was through the text.

He was so annoyed that he had walked out of the event just for a bit of the cold air to help cool him off. Standing to the side of the door with his back against the wall, he huffed on his cigarette, just wanting this stup-d party to be over with so he could confront Piper and find out what her deal was.

“. . .” He blew out the smoke from his cigarette. It was quiet. Ian closed his eyes as he tried to calm his mind and remind himself of where he was at. This wasn’t the time nor the place for him to be all huffy puffy about his girlfriend… Though this place was already swarming with a bunch of annoying people as is… “What am I even doing here?” Asking no one but the wind as we raised his hand up to his forehead and rested it there like some K-pop drama.

Everything was quiet and peaceful that he found himself drifting off into day dream.

The day dream

He was pulled from his day dream when he heard someone speaking. “L, I… I love you… I have for a long time.” Ian opened his eyes and looked over towards the commotion. Curiosity getting the best of him. “Love confession? What a joke.” He thought to himself as he pushed himself off of the wall and walked over to have a better view of the love sick confession, in hope that it would be entertaining to watch someone get turned down. He slide behind a tree nearby and listened in on the two while stealing a glance at who it was. To his surprise, it was Liv who was being confessed to. “D-mn… Dude thought he had a chance? She’s gay my dude…” Holding back a chuckle.

Forcing himself to swallow the laughter down, he listened in. From what he could gather from their convercation, it sounded like Liv was S/A’ed and the dude was trying to… He wasn’t even sure what the dude was trying to do at this point.

“L, what are you talking about? I shut the door. So, we could be alone. I thought you were enjoying the kissing and wanted more.” “JASON, I WAS CRYING AND SAYING NO!”

Ian groaned internally. Why did women always had to scream to get their point across? After a minute of silence, he finally walked out from behind the tree, one hand in his pocket while the other was at his lips, holding onto the last bit of the cigarette as he took what little remained before tossing it to the side.

Walking over to the dude, he swung his arm over the dude’s shoulder. “Hey man, the staff are looking for you. I believe they are about to start the wedding. Though I subject you hurry along man… Don’t want to delay the happy couple’s wedding… Unless you do?” He raised an eyebrow at him questioningly.

Cole stopped in front of the door of their room for the night and pulled the keycard out to swipe it against the lock, unlocking the door. Placing his hand on the nob, he leaned his head back as he turned to face him a little. “I like your outfit as well, though I think I’ll like what’s underneath even more.” He winked before pulling the door open and walking in.

Night of the parties

Jax was walking around campus when his phone went off again. He chuckled as he read the message. He thought for a moment in his drunken state what to type. He didn’t understand how you could message someone for a good time then call a raincheck. He wondered if he should say yes or no. After-all there is no promise that he would be feeling this way tomorrow. He was stumbling around anyways. So, didn’t matter much to him. He still felt horrible about Halloween night, and even though he was in therapy… He couldn’t seem to stop drinking. Part of him wished that Leo would have k^lled him. He tried to think of anything else.

If you want it to be a challenge then it is one. Not sure you could handle this big guy. Candlelite dinner??? You trying to date me or f^ck me? I’ll let you know tomorrow… But I should be free.

He sent it chuckling to himself. He wasn’t even sure why he was entertaining this guy, but could be nice to have a fun night with someone to take his mind off all the $h^t that has been his life… From what happened on Halloween all the way to doing things with his best friend and his best friend’s girl. Granted Jax did really enjoy being with Ash that way, and more so since he was in love with him for a long time. However, those feelings slowly disappeared. He wondered how Ash and Jennifer were doing. He hadn’t talked to them in a while. Not since he stopped seeing them.

Jax sighed. She had a point again. “You have a point I guess. Well… we don’t know 100% that I would have, but more then likely… I would have… You are right… However, I am trying to better myself, and not dwell on the things I can’t change. I’m still very sorry for making you lose your baby girl. There was nothing you could do. For that I am sorry. I’m sorry that I saw red and couldn’t control myself, but now that I am in therapy… I don’t intend for that to ever happen again, and I will do everything in my power to make sure it doesn’t. At least not from me.” He said then took a sip of his coffee. Therapy was helping him, but something she didn’t know is that he was beating himself up over it… Especially when he had found out that she was pregnant and he caused her to lose the baby. He throw him into a downward spiral. He was almost kicked off the football team and a lot more.

Liv had screamed at Jason. That made him pin her to the wall as he whispered in her ear. “Look. There is no need to scream L. I’m not gonna hurt you.” He said to her. Then next thing he knew he felt an arm around his shoulder. He chuckled some at what the guy said. “Well, if they are looking for me… Then they are looking for her too. She is the maid of honor after-all.” He throw a wink over at Liv and decided to walk away. “See you on the aisle L.” He said with a smile before walking back to the groom room. He didn’t want to ruin his best friend’s wedding day by fighting some punk @$$ kid.

Jason ran like a little b^tch of course. After Jason was gone, Liv looked at Ian “T–tha—thanks” She managed to stutter out. She was sure he could tell how uncomfortable she was with Jason, but more then that he probably heard her scream. “Where is your date… Jade?” She asked him curiously. Then she had another even more curious question for him. “Why didn’t you bring your girlfriend Piper?” She was trying to deflect and take any focus off of what just happened. Plus she really was curious why he was with jade instead of his girlfriend. She could tell by the way he and Jade looked at each other.. That they really liked each other.
