Rylee thought for a moment and it could work. I mean she does not have to text Lucy now, she can always just save her number for the future. “Oh fuck yeah give me her number. I won’t text her though unless Liv and I breakup. But can’t hurt to have backups especially if they are fricken hot.”
Then Ash walked over and asked them what they were laughing about. “Ash Tray how you doing buddy/” She went over to him and hugged him. She feels like she never sees Ash anymore so it is nice to actually see and hug him. “You double fisting those drinks theere buddy.”
Hadleyy nodded her head. She decidded to do both a mixed drink and a beer in case he did not like the mixed drink. “Here handsome you can have a mixed drink and if you don’t like it then you can have the beer.”
Madi shrugged her shoulders. “Who knows girl but maybe. I mean I understand why they would but I also think it is your choice if you want to go or not. Not get forced into it. Parents suck sometimes.”
Fleur’s day did not start off well. What she thought would be a playful instagram post turned into her being called a bunch of names that she would rather not repeat. She was debating on whether she should even go to the parties at all, but she decided to anyways. She felt embarrassed in front of James and wondered if he even still wanted to date her. She always wondered that for small reasons.
She put on a black short dress in thr mirror and saw the text messages from her new friend group. Well, Arya was always her friend but now she had Bria and Emma. They were a little girl power coven now. She tried to text Alexander to see what was going on with him but he wouldn’t answer.
“Are you ready to go baby?” She asked James. She kissed him on his lips.
They all arrived to Leo’s party. She wondered if James liked her friends but she didn’t bother asking yet. He was usually outspoken so he would tell her eventually. She was talking to her friends at the food table when she saw Emma venture off by herself to talk to Kuri. Fleur wondered what Emma was trying to do. Fleur felt bad for everything that happened with Kuri and even Zia. She was hoping to apologize soon. She was about to interrupt them when two fights happened. One of them involved Edward and TJ fighting after Lynishia threw a bottle at Bekah, shortly after she saw her friend Alexander waving a gun around. Before she could even begin to think about doing something, Amias tackled him to the ground and a shot rang out.
Fleur’s hands went up to her mouth as her eyes watered. Then Blaire fell down. Fleur leaned against James and started crying. She grabbed James hand and ran out of the party over to Jax’s. Brenda, Arya and Emma followed them. Emma grabbed Kuri’s hand away from the scene and took her with them.
They were all crying now. Fleur saw Rylee at Jax’s party and ran up to her. She grabbed her shoulders.
“Blaire just got shot!” She started crying even harder now.
Jonas was thankfully interrupted from getting beat up by Luke, Wren, Arya and Luke’s sisters. Cecilia arrived shortly after like a ghost, though, he was wondering what she was asking him. What did she mean did he change his clothes? “I don’t know what the f#ck is wrong with him.” Jonas could hardly speak due to being out of breath. He wiped the blood from his nose.
“Are you guys serious? I just told you that he tried to kill me!”
Everyone asked the blue haired goblin what he was talking about. “He was in the hallway and -”
Suddenly, a shot rang out on the second floor. They all looked at where the sound was coming from and everyone ran out of the room, to Jax’s party next door.
Jonas grabbed Cecilia’s hand and looked into her eyes. “Can you please tell me what you meant by why did you change your clothes? Do you really think that’s important after I was just getting beat up? I couldn’t even find you the whole time and you weren’t answering your texts.”
Jax chuckled. He then gave Rylee the number. Right after he handed her the phone back Ash said something as he was walking over to them. However, before he could reach Jax, Rylee ran up to him and hugged him. Jax sighed in relief. He wasn’t ready to deal with Ash. As soon as Ash answered Rylee’s question… Fleur ran up to Rylee saying that Blaire got shot. Jax was shocked. “By who?” Jax asked.. really curious.
Ash smiled and chuckled as Rylee ran up to him. He hugged her back and smiled. Then she made some joke and before he could respond, Fleur walked in and came up to them and told Rylee that Blaire got shot. Ash wasn’t shocked that something like that had happened at Leo’s party. He knew Leo was trouble. He wanted to laugh, but he needed to know if she was gonna be okay first. “Is she gonna be okay?”
Liv smiled at her. “Yeah, I agree, but I’m a minor and don’t really have a choice in some things, and I’m scared that will be one… That is part of the reason I haven’t told anyone really about it.”
Rylee got the number and had a big smile on her face when he gave it back. After that was when she went to hug Ash and he smiled back and was going to answer her but then Fluer entered the room and said Blaire was shot, and Jax asked by who and Ash asked if she was going to be ok. “WHAT?? Is she okay? Did someone call 911? Anyone with her right now?”
She turned her eyes up kinda like she was looking up and tapping her chin as if she was thinking. She then looked at him “Nah not this time. I mean I easily could poision you if I wanted but I am feeling generous today so your ood.” She smiled at him.
Madi nodded her head in understanding and feeling her. She did not want to go to therapy either but she had to go and still has to go. Madi has improved her attitude a lot and not sneaking out or getting drunk but of course Joy is not budging. “I get it, if not your family then at least your friends or Rylee you know, they can’t force you to go to therapy so. You will be okay though I know it. And did you hear a shot or no?”
She smiled as he pointed towards another set of doors. “I’m glad.” She made her way over to the balcony doors and walked out. Pulling out her small plastic bag of joints. “These aren’t anything special, just something for the need.” She smiled as she opened the bag and pulled one out, handing the joint over to Leo. “You want the first hit?”
He walked into the party that Leo was throwing and quickly made his way over to the area that was holding all of the alcohol. Taking a bottle and downing it as quickly as possible.
He pulled her into his arms for a hug. “We will think of something, love. Besides, we shouldn’t let what others tell us what to think about the situation… It’s not their life.”
Blaire looked down at her side. The redness coated her black dress and the warmth and sharp pain couldn’t be ignored. She instantly felt lightheaded and fell down. She could only hear screaming around her now and people were running out of the party. “Booker…” She murmured, half conscious from shock. She could hear people crying around her now and someone was trying to put something over her wound. is this really happening She thought.
“SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE!”
“OH MY GOD!!!..”
“WHAT DID YOU JUST DO!”
“I DIDN’T MEAN TO!”
Through half - lidded eyes she could see the culprit of her disposition. Alexander. She never really talked to him before. He was one of the “weird” kids.. one of Fleur’s friends. He always had impressive hair… But now he would be the reason she died…
She was sitting on a luxurious boat and watching the waves crash against the rocks in the far distance. Her hair blew in the wind, mixing with the salty air. Suddenly, she felt a pang in her chest. Something was wrong. Before she could turn around she heard the sound of a baby crying. She quickly turned her head and saw Booker sitting next to Elena on the other side of the dock, holding a baby in a swaddler. isn’t she cute? They said to each other. Booker moved his hand down and the baby’s face was revealed. It was a Gremlin face with red skin. Blaire sat up and let out a loud scream.
Blaire opened her eyes. She saw Luke holding a towel to her wound and Alexander was crying. Amias was pacing back and forth, still shielding Bekah.
“Someone… Call Booker..” She could feel that she was losing blood because she was so weak.
Bekah was just watching and she heard her say Booker. Weirdly somehow Bekah had Booker’s number and decided to call him to see if he can come or meet her at th hospital and also let him know that she was shot. She heard the phone ring. She never seen someone shocked so she was shocked but she also has sbeen around bad events. She saw Amias be protective and shield her. As she was waiting for Booker, she looked at Amias “Amias i’m safe it is ok. I’m ok. Are you doing ok?”
Zira was excited for this party and to be there with Hyun - Jae. Her cheeks were already hurting due to the amount of smiling she was already doing. “Let’s get something to drink. I’m thirsty for some reason.” She nodded her head in agreement. “Some liquids does sound nice…” She replied as she followed closely to him as they walked over to the table.
When they arrived at the table, she noticed a few others were there. "Hey man, you’re datingHazelnow or what?" She looked at him, feeling that this question was kind of rude but she dismissed it as she picked up a water cup and took a sip out of it.
"Like she said. No,Hyun - Jae we aren’t dating. We are just friends. I’m still single since the wholeAlexandercheating thing." She was curious about the blow out about the two but knew it wasn’t her place, and maybe if she was lucky enough, she’d find a blog about it somewhere.
Once again, Hyun - Jae’s awkwardness got the better of him. “Oh, I’m sorry guys that’s not what I meant. I was just wondering if you guys were dating.” He started babbling a bit and then decided to take a sip of his water. “I don’t know why I’m so awkward.” He said to Zira. He was just trying to make new friends. He wondered how Zira put up with him. “You look so beautiful tonight by the way. Do you want to dance?” He felt that he sounded robotic in this moment but he didn’t know what else to do. Plus, he kept having memories of the night they slept together playing in his mind everytime he looked at what she was wearing. He had never felt these sexual feelings so strongly before. He didn’t know if it was wrong or not. Objectifying even. He was about to take her hand when they were interrupted by Alexander. Hyun - Jae could barely keep up with what was happening when he took out a gun. Jae instantly moved Zira behind him and then his friend Amias tackled him. A shot rang out. Blaire fell down. And now there was a bunch of panic and commotion. Jae stayed frozen, still shielding Zira for dear life. He wondered how Alexander got this crazy. He remembered during the week when Alexander had interrupted his conversation with Elias in the rec - center. It seemed like he didn’t want anyone near Elias. At all.
Jae was honestly fearing for his life. “We have to get out of here.” He grabbed Zira’s hand and went to where Jax’s party was happening.
Amias was not okay. He was bawling his eyes out. His brother just shot someone. So many things were going through his mind. The first thing he needed to do was take the gun from Alexander and that’s exactly what he did. Now other people were helping Blaire. He paced back and forth. The only thing that could be worse is if Bekah somehow got shot and he wasn’t going to let that happen. “Bekah, please just stay behind me. I don’t want you to get hurt. I don’t know… What else he could do.” It hurt him to say that about his own brother. The police were coming soon and he was counting down the time.
“I think someone already called 911, but me and my other friend’s already left the party. I don’t like Blaire but I don’t want her to die! I don’t know where she got shot because I could barely see. Ash, you need to tell Leo to call the police. I didn’t see him anywhere.” She yanked Ash’s arm and her voice was breathy and panicked. Fleur didn’t even want to go to Leo’s party, she just went because her other friends didn’t like Jax. Now she had to deal with this.
James hadn’t really planned on going, feeling like it was just a power struggle between the popular students. But when Fleur looked the way that she did, he just couldn’t help but to agree to go. She was just way too adorable to keep to himself. “Are you ready to go, baby?” She leaned over to kiss him on the lips. He let out a light hum. “Mmmm… Not yet… But I will be in a minute.” He got up and went over to quickly change.
~Leo’s party~
They had arrived at the party and right off the bat, Fleur had found her group of friends. James smiled faintly at this, not really caring about who her friends were, as long as they stayed out of his business.
Suddenly a fight broke out which seemed to have drawn a lot of peoples’ attention. It looked like Alexander was waving a gun around. Without a second thought, he moved in front of Fleur as if to keep her safe. “This is so f-cking stup-d…” He mumbled to himself.
He watched as the fight continued. Fleur leaned against James and began crying. “I think it might be best if we just leave..” She grabbed his hand and began running out of the party. He hadn’t noticed her group of friends had followed them out of the party and into the next one.
~Jax’s Party~
James let out a sigh while trying to rank his brain around what had just happened. The friend group was all in tears and the night just felt like a complete sh-t show.
"Blaire just got shot!" She began crying again.
“. . .” He crouched down, placing both his hands on his head as he tried to process what had just happened. He had zoned out.
Cici heard a shot ring out. She hoped it wasn’t one of her friends. Then Jonas grabbed her hands. She knew there was a lot of chaos goign on in the momet. Jonas looked in her eyes and spoke. He asked her what she meant about him changing clothes. Then said some other things. “Baby… You picked me up in a suit. We drove here together… No, it’s not important… I was just confused. What text? My phone never went off.” She said as she pulled her phone out her pocket. That’s when she noticed the notifications on her phone.
Then she realized her phone was on dnd. Cici never put her phone on dnd, so she was confused. “What the F^CK! Why is my phone on DO NOT DISTURB! I’m so confused… You did ask me for my phone in the car… Did you do that?” She wanted to cry, but held it in. “If you hadn’t put my phone on do not disturb then I would have gotten your messages.”
She then looked back at her phone. She looked at the messages. “WAIT!!! You got to my dorm to pick me up before they 30 minutes. Something did seem off… If it wasn’t you… Then who the f^ck looks like you Jonas?”
“Oh, I’m sorry guys that’s not what I meant. I was just wondering if you guys were dating.” Ziras’ attention went elsewhere. Just wondering the room and seeing the many different people. She was curious where her sister, Zia and Brooks were. And hoped they were having a fun time together.
*“You look so beautiful tonight by the way. Do you want to dance?”“Hmm?” Her attention was back on him. “Dance? Yes please.” She smiled as he led them over to a less crowded area to dance. She leaned into him and placed a delicate kiss on his lips, before whispering, “I’m only this beautiful only for you.” she giggled softly. Enjoying the moment with him.
She was about to lean more into him and take his hand when a commotion broke out. She was about to turn her head to see what was going on when Hyun - Jae moved her behind of him. A sound of a gun shot shot out and Zira flinched at the sound, covering her ears. Everything around them started to blur into one big motion. "What’s going on Hyun - Jae?" She tried to ask but the sounds of others screams and panic seemed to have drawn her out.
“We have to get out of here.” He grabbed her hand and lead them out of the party only to join another party. She was confused and lost. What had happened? Why was there a sound of a gun being fired? “What happened back there?” She asked curiously.
Jax felt the chaos from all the people running over to his party. It felt like this was a bad thing for him too. He turned down the music and spoke. “Hey… Look… The cops are probably on their way here since the shooting happened. If we stay silent maybe they will not question all of us.”
Nicky chuckled at what she said. Then the guy throwing the party told everyone to talk quitely, so maybe they wouldn’t be questioned by the cops. “Wanna get out of here before the cops come?”
Liv
Liv stood there smiling as they talked and drank. Then Madi asked her if she heard a shot. She looked around the room and a lot of people were leaving. “I heard a pop.”
Luckily there was so many people that were helping blaire while Bekah was calling and waiting in booker. She also looked around to see where her sister was and to make sure she was ok. Also she wasn’t sure if her and Elena should stick around since they gotten in trouble earlier in the week. But she figured it may be best to stay since if they left it may look like they were hiding something. “thanks Amias and your right but you know your brother the best. Would he do anymore damage? And what are you thinking about grabbing the gun? You know cops can do and most likely will do fingerprints on it or think you did this because you have it in your hand.” she looked at him and patted his should and hugged him. “Amias Alexander needs help and I mean serious help. I know it’s scary but if he doesn’t get help he will get worse and possibly actually k**l Elias or heck even Hazel since he thinks she’s standing in between you guys”
She heard what Jax and Ash said and how the need everyone to not be loud so the cops don’t question them. She understood where they were coming from she just hoped Liv was on since she figured she was there and got out her phone and texted her
hey bay for are you ok? Please tell me you are? We heard the shot and fluer came in here and told us what happened. I know we haven’t talked but I want to make sure you’re okay and to let you know I love you. Please just text me back if you’re ok or not.
“yeah I agree don’t feel like dealing with them tonight.” she whispered back to her boys. She sighed and looked around. People these days are just getting crazier and crazier.
Hadley nodded her head when Nicky asked if she wanted to get out before the cops came. “yeah I don’t really want to deal with cops and it wouldn’t be good for y9 if your even getting questioned so let’s go handsome. Wanna come to my place?”
