Lol it’s kinda ironic that I am reading all this while I’ll probably never be in that situation coz well no one likes me 
Anyway just be honest but polite. Honesty doesn’t have to be brutal and I believe that especially in relationships you must let them down slowly because they had feelings for you and you can hurt them. That’s all I guess
