What’s wrong with public baths? We do still have those in many countries.

Bathing? In public? There’s no reason to want to be naked and wash yourself around other people, let alone use water many others have used. If that’s the only option I get it, but still I don’t like it.

I thought ancient times were included in prehistory?

Prehistory is the time before written records. Basically, prehistory is before recorded history. Once you start getting into civilizations, then that’s just ancient history.

Fair point. Though they’re more public spa-like pools than for cleaning yourself.
