Fleur looked at James as if he had two heads.
“Your cousin isn’t stupid. How dare you say that about him.” She let out a huge sigh to keep from crying and rubbed her red eyes.
“I did something horrible to him. Something that I can’t take back.” She looked at him again. “Can I just… hug you?” Before he could even say anything she laid her head on his shoulder and started crying. She cried for a few seconds or until he decided to push her off. She couldn’t help it, he looked too much like him.
Fleur could hear the sound of fast footsteps pounding on the grass in front of them but her eyes were still closed. Before she could even look she heard the words. “Get away from her…” Then the feeling of something hard hitting her head. Fleur immediately knew that James had gotten punched and so did she by sheer vicinity. It was Alexander. Fleur stood up in horror. He just started punching and kicking ‘Scottie’
“YOU JUST PUNCHED ME!” She walked a bit closer to the scene. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING ALEXANDER! STOP!”
He stopped beating him up and talked to Fleur, trying to catch his breath.
“What are YOU still doing here with SCOTTIE!? He let you have a cocaine overdose! He’s a bad influence on you and he helped you relapse! He didn’t even visit you at the hospital!! and don’t say I’m crazy because you texted me everything.”
“SCOTTIE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT! AND HE DIDN’T EVEN HELP ME RELAPSE! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!”
“You put a love spell on him. You’re so messed up over him and obsessed YOU’RE LETTING HIM RUIN YOUR LIFE.”
“THAT’S NOT EVEN SCOTTIE THAT’S HIS COUSIN!” She yelled.
There was silence as Alexander stared at “Scottie” He did look sort of different but not by much.
Fleur swallowed. “I put a love spell on Scottie because he loves Kuri. I ruined everything. I feel so bad. The cocaine overdose had nothing to do with him. That was my fault. We were just on a date. He didn’t even know I did cocaine. There are you happy now? Just leave James alone.”
Alexander was silent again. “It doesn’t matter. None of this would have happened if that stupid motherfcker wasn’t involved. Where is he then, I want to find him.”
Fleur swallowed and looked at James. She wondered what he was going to think about this. She didn’t want to tell him anything, especially not this way. “Haven’t you done enough damage? Scottie is probably with Kuri right now anyways.”
