Once he was done his trick he walked back to her and she talked to him saying it was not his fault and his ex mom in law knows better. She was right but still it did not give the best image of him and the fact that he was married and now divorced probably was not the best either. She then asked if he wanted to get food or just hang out. “I could go for food, if you want? Or do you need to practice your routine? I also don’t want to disrupt you practicing for the competition.” He smiled at her a little. “Also what’s on your mind besides you practicing for the competition.”

Kaylie smiled when he said he could go for food. “I need to eat, so you aren’t disrupting my practice. Plus, that was the last apparatus that I had for today. So, I’m done with practicing.” She giggled then he asked what else was on her mind. She wasn’t sure how to say what she was on her mind. “Is it true your ex wife has a boyfriend? Do you ever think about dating?” She wasn’t sure how to tell him that she liked him.

She answered his question and was done with her practice anyways so he got up off the beam they were sitting on and moved his hand out for her to take and when she did that she helped her down even though it was not high but he felt like being a gentlemen. When they got down Kaylie grabbed her gym bag as she asked him really 2 questions. He really was not sure how to answer this question as there are layers to it.
So he thought for a moment as they were walking out of the gym. “Ugh yeah she does, I think he is on the football team and plays Safety. Also on the first day we got here at the orientation she went and left me and went to talk to a guy and talked. She came down every once in awhile to speak to me but went right back up to him, so I kind of knew things were over between us, plus our relationship didn’t feel as strong as before. So I think we both fell out of love and then we got in this big argument and we said we should get a divorce and yeah here we are now. To answer your other question about if I ever think about dating, yeah I do. I am ready, Karen and I both deserve to be happy and if she moved on and is happy with him, why can’t I move on as well and we are both so young so it’s not like I can’t find someone new you know. What about you? Do you ever think about dating or want to? I mean I know Gymnastics probably takes a lot of your time.”

Kaylie smiled as Griffin got off the beam and held out his hand to help her down. “Thank you.” She said as she went to get her gym bag. Once she had that they walked out the gym. Griffin explained to her that yes Karen did have a boyfriend and that he has thought about dating. He said they both deserve to be happy which she agreed with. Then he asked her what about her. Does she ever think about dating or want to. She wasn’t sure how to answer this.
Since she hadn’t thought about dating till recently. “Gymnastics does take most of my time, so when I do date whoever I date would have to be okay with that.” She said as they kept walking. “I have only thought about it recently if I’m being honest. Where did you want to eat?” She asked as they kept walking. “I think I would like to change my outfit first.” She said as she smiled at him.

As they were walking towards the door Kaylie answered saying that she has been thinking it recently but the person would have to be okay with her doing gymnastics and taking up a lot of time. Which it made sense to him, would suck kinda but gymnastics seems to be her lively hood in a good way so he would understand the reason why it would take most of her time. Before they got to the door Kaylie said that she thinks she needs to change her outfit first. “Aww but you look good in the Leotard, anyways I think that is what they are called, and I am sure you would get some heads turned towards you.” He said serious but jokingly as well, he knew that she didn’t want that type of attention on her.

Kaylie smiled and blushed some at his response. “Yes… that is what they are called. Thanks for thinking I look good in a Leotard. I don’t want heads turning towards me.” She giggled as they left the gym and headed towards the dorms. “Plus… it’s kind of chilly out here ya know.” She giggled again as she playfully pushed him to the side as they walked “I would like to be dressed for the weather.” She said with a smile as they kept walking and made it back to the dorm rooms. “I mean… You can come up with me if you want.” She said with a smile as they entered the dorm room hall.

Griffin was right in his thoughts as she confirmed she did not want heads turning towards her. She also added that it is cold and she wants to be more prepared which made sense he did not take in the weather and the coldness of the air. As they walked she pushed him a little playfully. “Heyyyy that’s not nice.” He said jokingly. He then playfully and lightly pushed her to.
Then they got to the dorm hall and Kaylie said that he can go up with her if he wanted to. “Sure I will come up. Although I will stand outside your door while you change then you can open it when you are done. I can’t wait to find out more about you and ask you some questions.”

Kaylie had giggled when Griffin pushed her back playfully and said that it wasn’t nice. Then once they made it to the dorm hall. He said he would come up with her but wait outside while she changed. “Well let’s get up there. So, I can change and we can go get some food.” She smiled as they walked in and went to her dorm. Once she got to her door she unlocked it. “I’ll be right back.” She smiled at him as she closed the door so she could get dressed. She went to her closet and started looking through it. Then she finally found the perfect outfit. She got dressed and put on her boots before walking back to the door. She opened it and smiled at waiting Griffin. “Where do you want to eat? and you can ask me anything. I can’t wait to get to know more about you as well.” She said with a sweet smile. She wanted to learn everything about him. His fears, his favorite things, his fantasies, and everything in between. She felt she was doomed because she already knew she liked him, and she was sure the more she learned about him the more she would like him.

They ended up at her place and he waited outside her room for her. About 5 minutes later or so she was ready and opened the door for him. She asked him where he wanted to go eat. “Wow you look gorgeous, and those are some high boots. As for your question are you in the mood for Chinese food maybe?” He shrugged his shoulders not really sure. “Or maybe we can find some type of buffet or something.”

She smiled as she walked out. Griffin said wow and that she looked gorgeous which made her blush. She giggled when he said that those were some high boots. Then he asked if she wanted Chinese food. She smiled “I could go for some Chinese food.” She smiled at him as they started walking out the dorm.

She answered his question when she came back out with it sounded good. “Okay pretty lady then let’s go. I happened to stumble upon a Chinese a few months ago and the food is really good. Are you allowed to eat Chinese food though? I mean I know gymnast really watch what they eat.” He was not sure if he should try to hold her hand or not, and he did not want to move to fast.

After the party in Wren’s dorm, Karen was having a date night with Nash but she forgot her purse. She walked down the hallway and went into her dorm. The black purse was on her bed. She picked it up and put it around her shoulder. When she walked into the hallway after closing the door behind her, she saw Griffin with Kaylie. Her steps were slow as she continued staring at them. She didn’t realize that she bumped into Nash. “Oh! Sorry I…I finally got my purse.” She laughed nervously.
I wasn’t sure whether it could be after the Wren party but I thought that would make for interesting drama, especially if they end up going to the same restaurant as Kaylie and Griffin

The party at Wren’s dorm was over and Fleur was walking down the campus with her crutches back to her dorm. While walking, she was thinking why does her good outfit have to go to waste. She decided to stand and just look at the moon. She felt alone for some reason, and then she thought of James. She pulled out her phone and texted him.
Hey, I was thinking we could go
get some dinner?
They weren’t official yet so she didn’t want to call it a date, but that was what she wanted it to be.

Kaylie smiled at Griffin as they started to walk. He asked if she was allowed Chinese food. “Every once in a while it doesn’t hurt.” She smiled at him as they kept walking. She noticed Karen with what she assumed was her boyfriend. She hated that his ex-wife or whatever always seemed to pop up every time they tried to hang out. She felt that even though they aren’t together that obviously they have a history, and that even though they might not be in love with each other anymore… She knew that they still loved each other though. Most couples do.

As Griffin and Kaylie were walking out they saw Karen and her boyfriend. Griffin just gave Karen a small smile and a head nod as in saying hi. He was not sure if he should of said hi to her out loud or keep it low key because he was not sure if her boyfriend knew who he was or that she was married at one point and he did not want to ruin anything. Kaylie and Griffin then kept walking and walked out of the building and into the town. “I forgot that you girls are on the same floor as each other. That must be really awkward.”

Nash ended up meeting with Karen, he guessed there party was done and he has not eaten yet which he was guessing she didn’t either and he mentioned maybe they can go get Chinese food and she was good with that but forgot her purse so he ended up walking her to her room so she can get it. As she got it and came out she mentioned she got the purse, then as they were walking away from her room they saw another guy and girl and she ended up slowing down and the guy nodded and gave a small smile so Nash figured they knew each other and she bumped into Nash. “I see that honey, are you okay? You seem a little surprised I guess and a little out of it.” He was not sure if they should just do something in her room or something else if she was not feeling up to going out.

Karen just shook her head. “What? Uh - No I’m fine darling. Let’s just go to the chinese food place.” She began walking ahead of Nash after Kaylie and Griffin passed. She made sure to walk slowly so that they wouldn’t end up side by side with them.
After a while of them walking, they ended up getting into Nash’s car and he drove them to the restaurant. They sat down in the back of the restaurant where there was leather plush seating. “I’m so happy to be with you sweetheart.” She pecked him on the lips.

Kaylie smiled as they walked out the building and into town. As they walked to town Griffin said that he forgot they were on the same floor and it must be awkward. “Well, it is a little awkward, but we luckily don’t see each other often, and I’m sure she feels the same way.” She said as she thought of something to change the subject. However, she couldn’t think of anything. So they walked in silence for a moment until she came up with something to say. Luckily it wasn’t an awkward silence. “So, you said you wanted to get to know me… So, why don’t we like play a game where I ask you something and we both answer it then you ask me something and we both answer it.” She thought about reaching over and holding his hand, but she felt it was the guy’s job to reach for the female’s hand first. She wasn’t even sure if this was a date or just a hang out.

She answered and then there was silence even though there shouldn’t be as that was the only thing that Griffin was going to say but, after a moment of silence Kaylie spoke and offered up a game.
We can do that if you want. You want to go first?" He already knew some questions he wanted to ask her but as they say ladies first.
Nash
Nash did not believe her at all but didn’t say anything. The truth always comes out so he will find out eventually. Once they got to the car Nash held Karen’s door open for her, as he was a gentleman. His mom and even dad always instilled manners and treating a woman like a queen, and he needs to be a gentleman which means opening up car doors and doors in general for whoever he is dating. They talked as they drove to the restaurant and once they were there they were seated down and Karen said she was happy to be with him. “Awww baby your so sweet and cute. I am happy to be here with you to. Also how was the party you went to? I’m surprised it did not last longer.”

As they walked she asked him the first question which was what his favorite kind of music it. “Well I have a few, Alternative music so that is like Green Day, All American Rejects, Mayday Parade, Secondhand Serenade to name a few. Country, Rap, Metal.” He then was quiet for a moment and came up with a question. “Why did you decide to come to west Nottingham?”
