They kept holding hands and they were by the ice cream place. Kaylie told hm what she lieks to do besides train and shop which was running. “Nice nice, running can be good. I think there is a gym or arena on campus that at least has a nice track for the indoor track people. Also I have heard that aroud town they have some really nice gyms that have a huge track and pools and stuff and then obviously outside tracks. I think there are a few hiking/running trails to/” He said shrugging his shoulders as he was not sure on the last part.
“So what is Ms Kaylie’s favorite ice cream. I can’t even take a guess if I am honenst. I feel like some choclate is in there but with other flavors.” He asked her and he could see the ice cream place about 500 feet from them.
Kaylie was so happy in this moment. Lost in the moment of her and Griffin holding hands and walking around town together. She listened as he spoke. “Good to know. I think when it’s cold like this… the indoor tracks would be good, but when it’s warmer I think trails in nature would be nicer.” Then he asked what her favorite ice cream flavor was. She smiled and giggled at his thoughts. She was about to probably through him for a loop. “My favorite ice cream flavor would have to be strawberry.” She smiled and giggled out.
Griffin smiled as she talked. She mentioned going indoors for now would be a good idea and then when it gets warmer run outside. She also chuckled when he mentioned soething with choclate was probably her favorite and which she answered saying something completly off and then giggled about it. “Yup I was way off. Maybe I should call you y strawberry cream puff then as a nickname.” He joked since he would never call her that and it sounded so stupid. “Or Starwberry shotcake siince you are short.” He smiled when he looked at her.
They then walked a little more and they were at the good ice cream place. “Would you like me to get you the starwberry ice cream love or do you wat something else?”
Kaylie giggled as he said he was way off. Then talked about different names with strawberry in it that he could call her. she wasn’t sure why this was funny. Then he asked if she wanted him to get her some strawberry ice cream. “Yeah. That sounds nice. Wanna go in and eat it or walk around still and eat it?”
They waited in liine which was not really long. She said sure and then she asked if he wanted to go in and eat or walk around and eat it. “We can get it and keep walking if ya want. Or if you would raathr take a break from walking and eat inside we can beautoful.”
Kaylie smiled at Griffin. He said it didn’t matter to him what they did. “Well, why don’t we eat inside where it’s warm? Get out the cold for a moment.” She said with a smile as they waited in line hand in hand.
Griffin nodded his head as she spoke. They kept holdig hands which both hands were warm which was ice. “Sure honey that sounds good to me.” They talked a little more as they waited in line and when it was there turn he got her a Starwberry ice cream and he got himself some Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup. He paid the person and they wet to sit down when they got the ice creams. “Hoepfully the ice cream will be up to your standards.”
Kaylie smiled as they waited in line. Then Griffin told them what they wanted. Griffin paid for the ice cream and they walked to find a table. “I’m sure it will be fine.” She smiled as they sat down to eat.
He smiled as well and sat down once they found a table and started to eat his ice cream, and it was pretty good. He just smiled at Kaylie. “You are beautiful. And do you want to keep walkig after this or go back to school?”
Kaylie smiled as they ate their ice cream. It was really delicious. “I’m fine with whatever you want to do.” She smiled at him. Maybe she could find a new dress in a store, or possible find something for him like he did her. She wasn’t sure if she was ready to go back to the school. She didn’t want this date to end.
He gives her a look like really? that does not help but also smiled. “Ok how about we walk a little more then go back and we can still do stuff there. You can show me your gymnastic moved if you want or we could go swim or I don’t know. We could watch a movie and cuddle. zreally anything.”
Kaylie smiled as she heard him talk. “That sounds prefect to me. I was thinking about getting a new dress. Want to help me pick one or two out?” She asked with a cheeky grin. She loved the idea of cuddling and watching a movie. She never really got to do that.
Griffin gave her a hseepish nervous smile when she asked if he wanted to help her pick out a new dress. I mean which uy likes dress shopping but I mean he was there to probably give his opinion which isn’t bad. “Sure but ugh please don’t take like 3 hours in one store.” He chuckled as he they kept eating their ice crea.
Kaylie giggled. “I don’t think I have ever taken that long. Not even with the girls back home.” She giggled again. She knew that some girls shop like that, but not her.
Griffin figired he would believe her, he just knows girls love to shop and can spend a long time in just one store. “Okay Kaylie I believe you but I won’t be surprised if we did spend awhile in there though but I don’t mind. As long as I get to sit down.” Griffin kept eating his ice cream almost being done.
Kaylie giggled after she finished her bite of ice cream. “Of course you can sit down. There are benches usually right outside the fitting rooms, or well in most stores they do. So, you should be good. I’m only gonna try on like maybe four dresses and you pick the two you like best.” She smiled as she took another bite of her ice cream. They talked some more and kept eating their ice cream.
Griffin smiled and finished his ice cream as Kaylie talked. She mentioned they have a bench in most stores so he can sit and then said he just wanted to pick his 2 favorites. "Yes love, I can do that. Your wish is my coand.
Kaylie couldn’t help but giggle and smile at Griffin. “Good.” She said as she took her last bite. It was a store she saw not too far from where they were. She was excited. “The shop was a few stores back. So, we can go whenever you are ready.”
Griffin heard Kaylie say the stoe wa nearby and he nodded his head. He then grabbed her stuff and his stuff and got up and wlalked to the trash and threw the napkins and everything away. He waited for her. “You ready my sexy girl. Let’s go shop to we drop.”
Kaylie smiled as Griffin stood up. He took all the trash and went to throw it away. Then he waited for her calling her his sexy girl which made her blush. She giggled at the last part. “Yes, let’s go.” She said as she grabbed his hand in hers and interlocked their fingers. She then led him to the store. They got there and she started to look around for the four dresses she would try on.
