What are some of the most exotic foods you’ve ever had?

It was like salty roast beefe to me. I liked it even if my sister had to trick me into eating it. The calamari was not my favorite at all.

Oh I forgot. Frog legs, aligator and I think shark fin once.

Yes! I love it. (I’m Muslim so sometimes I eat halal food)

Yeah, it was very different. One of the best parts of my trip to Japan. I will never forget how that calamari tasted though. It was fried too.

How’d it taste?

Before I was veggie I had chicken feet at dim sum. Not a fan, very rubbery. Also, accidentally found snails in this noodle soup I had in China. Didn’t realize it had snails til I saw some shells…

Eeek snails gross me out :joy:

I did try frog legs once, I spent more time to “decorticate” the meat than eat. What a waste of time, haha.

No escargot for you??? Yet another French rule you’re breaking I guess…

Ah! Tell me about it. My whole family loves snails, my bf could eat that every day.
(But they all say the same thing: the only reason they eat it is for garlic butter :joy::joy::joy: )

Yeah, it seems like that’s all they are. Might as well cut out the middle man and just have the garlic butter! Or add it to bread mmmm

My thought exactly! Butter and bread are enough. And since we are in Brittany: SALTED butter and bread. :yum:
