Free college is fine but we can’t have free healthcare and college at the same time. It would make taxes go up even higher across the country if we went that route. Bernie is a the better option than Warren since he does have a more solid plan.

She said that she was fired from her job at a high school because she was pregnant. That was not true about why she got fired. Which she claims to been discriminated against for being pregnant. They didn’t fire her at all in fact the school had extended her contract to work there but she left the school instead.

They don’t fire you when you get pregnant… that’s illegal by federal law, one, and two, maternity leave exists.

Not sure why the Democrats are gaga about her.

Yeah, back when she was younger they could fire you but they passed the law where that can not happen now.

It was a by state I think. The reason I know it’s a known thing is because by 84’ my mother was pregnant with my eldest sister which caused her to drop out of EMS program at the time. They wouldn’t let her finish the program at all. My mother never went back to EMS either.

Yeah, back then they didn’t have maternity leave until 1993. So the women had to drop their jobs/schooling until they could go back.

Sadly to say but yes. It really is only 20 years that was put into place under the federal act for A Family and Medical Leave.

Yeah, we took the snail pace when it came to that stuff. Just like how they are still arguing over a better healthcare bill needing to be put into place.
