For all of my characters, it would truly depend on who would be with them as they were dying (and to an extent how they were dying could impact it as well) for what their last words would be.

I know for one character of mine, when he was dying in an alternate universe, his last words would have been “I’m sorry” had he not survived, or depending on how his last conversation could have been in the other variation of the alternate universe it could have been something along the lines of, “I love you” or “I’ll see you later.”

Then, for another character of mine, I’m still trying to figure out what her last words would have been when she died. Most likely, it would have been her telling her husband that she loved him and their daughter.
