So, I don’t know what else to add, the title is pretty obvious. What makes something art and what isn’t art :thinking:

I guess art is pretty broad and it’s mainly if the artist considers their work art what makes it art or not… But I’m curious to hear what you think!

Taping a Banana to a wall and calling it art is very…questionable in my opinion :sweat_smile:

But I think what makes something art is if you, the creator, call it art or other people do.

Idk this is legit implying that the banana is art but whatever

In my opinion, art is something that expresses emotion or feelings, something that is created by someone. Art can be anything.

Even taping a banana to a wall. Who knows, you might have rows of bananas arranged in a pattern. Now that’s art! :white_heart:

anything can and cannot be art, it has to be something creative that a person can view as one or as many perspective. It has to have meaning and be made from scratch. It has to have a form of the way we view the world or anything in the universe :upside_down_face:

that takes hard work and inspiration
