At school, we had the option to get school dinner but I never ate there If I had a longer lunch break, my parents picked me up to get food at home or at McDonald’s and for short lunch breaks I had my own food with me.
The food that the school offered was rather expensive but not very good. At least that’s what everyone said. I’ve heard stories about plastic pieces in the meals or hair in burgers

We don’t have lunch breaks here because school ends at 12 or 1 something, so we get to eat at home. However, we do have a 20 minute recess every day where you get to eat in between.

Usually, our school canteen sells rice (fried rice, chicken rice) or sandwiches.
