Unfortunately, a lot of drama has been going on within the Episode community, and people are speaking out against. On the other hand, people are participating in the drama… I don’t know about you guys, but when people bring things up to surface that does not need to be said again, starts a whole lot of crap. Some things aren’t meant to be said again. That’s a fact. So, why are people steady spilling “tea” on people within the community and starting beef with each other? Dude, I thought the Episode community was supposed to be there for each other no matter what; I’m sadly mistaken I guess
wheeze
But seriously, the Episode community has become way more toxic and I’m honestly extremely happy that I left. They need to pull their sh*t together ffs.
Right… It’s getting out of control to the point where people are leaving the community. That is sad. Things got way worse now that people are spilling tea on each other.
Just get a grip and stop pulling stupid stunts for drama. Stop accusing your “ friends “ of things they haven’t done, don’t freaking start drama just for the “ tea “. You’re not cool and you’re wasting everybody’s time you piece of human excrement. People in the community need to take a step back and just chill. Honestly. You’re not funny if you start drama. You’re not “ kWeen “ if you do something offensive or hurtful to somebody so just stop.
I seriously don’t understand why people can’t see this problem
Atleast people are calling out these authors. The community was always toxic anyway. But there’s no reason to go back and forth with people for the stupidest reasons. I’d say it matters what they did.
I’ve noticed that people don’t respect people’s opinions in discussions, I did participate in a discussion on Episode about this kind of thing and I was never out of hand, I could see both sides but I put my opinion out there. I think that what stays in that kind of discussion should stay in that discussion unless they say stuff bad against you, then that’s when you just ignore them. People who are in debates and don’t take things personally and after arguing/debating with you can go back to having normal discussions like you are the best kind of people honestly. But discussions on there turn into debates and debates turn into heavy arguments… Like I just don’t understand…
Neither do I. I’ve known many, many people who I’ve considered close friends who debate and argue about the most ridiculous topics with me, then proceed to blame the whole thing on me and play the victim. One even started claiming they had fake mental disorders. Glad I’ve got some new friends.
But where’s Dr. Phil? Episode needs him right about now.
People love “the tea”.
I prefer actual tea that you drink and I hate that kind of tea…
Okay, that makes no sense, but whatever.
If I get heavy with someone in a debate that’s probably gonna stay in the debate unless they really insulted me or something. I really like to hear other people’s views even if I disagree with them and if I start to get angry I back out of the “discussion”. I just can’t understand people who get angry over silly things especially with their friends- like I can understand it if you’ve never met the person and it’s your first impression but friends?
It’s gotten so annoying. I take it as jokes obviously, but drama is so irritating most of the time
Ikr? Many people on the forums need to realize what they’re doing.
Let’s just hope that all this drama brings the sane ones over to these forums and we gain more active members…the sane ones who won’t start that sh*tty drama
Episode community is nothing more than any other community. Different people coming together. So drama is meant to be a big part of it.
That’s the thing about a community based around teenage girls with an app aimed at teenage girls as it’s source. Teenage girls have a particular gift at starting and sustaining drama, they’re very good at it.
But at the same time, people also hate teenage girls with a passion, and this isn’t just some conspiracy theory, this is fact that you can easily make statistics for yourself. Think about the big internet outrages, most of them centre around something aimed at teenage girls getting popular. Twilight, Justin Bieber, vampire and young adult romance fiction in general, now Episode. People get more riled up about teenage girls for some reason, and it’s kinda weird in all honesty. Like, people do not get so riled up about the stuff teenage boys make popular. They just scoff at worst.
Episode is just another symptom of that
Well yeah that’s true because there’s a lot of messy and drama-filled people in this world.
I’ve never looked at it in that way… I think is true. Some girls like to start drama
People don’t keep the same energy when it comes to respecting opinions.
I’ve tried to be respectful on Episode forums but words were put into my mouth by another user. I didn’t lash out at them I just moved on but they did it multiple times and I was like “What are you trying to achieve?”. It’s like people want you to be respectful but want to stir things up at the same time.
I’ve given up at this point.
That happened to me before So I understand where you’re coming from.
