A thread for weird snacks

What is the weirdest snack/food you have heard of? Have you tried it? Was it good, or bad?

Tell everyone all about that snack!

I thought about this because I’m eating pickle chips right now! They sound pretty weird, but if you like salt and vinegar chips, they are kind of like a toned-down slightly pickle-y version of those.

Ketchup chips. They tasted really good :ok_hand:

I’ve heard of those but never tried them. Apparently they are more popular in Canada rather than America for some reason.

But pickle chips contain potatoes!

Uhhhh

No, they don’t! They are… pickle corn chips…?

Puppy chow…that’s how I always knew it. Peanut better, chocolate, powdered sugar and chex chips all smashed into one. Such a good combo. One of my favorites. It brand name version is basically Chex Mix’s Muddy buddies but they aren’t as good as when you make them from scratch.

I once put a banana in water, and added milk for an experiment. Didn’t eat it. :green_heart:

I’m gonna second the weird kitkat flavours sentiment here, considering how many of them I’ve tried. The wasabi flavoured kitkat is incredibly bad. Although, the green tea kitkat is actually really nice I’m ngl.

Speaking of weird Japanese food. I did get a bag of like. Dried chicken? It was kinda weird and smelled funny but good god it tasted amazing

This is a snack/filling Indian drink that a lot of people find really weird, but OMG it’s so good.

Heat a teaspoon of cumin seeds on a pan for 30 seconds, making sure to swizzle so they don’t burn.

Crush them.

Put 4 tablespoons of greek (unflavoured) yogurt into a cup.

Add the cumin seeds.

Fill the rest of the cup with water.

Add a little salt, stir and drink! LOVELY
