So…something is very wrong here. How do I fix this? I absolutely love how his head turned out, but the body is just…what happened?!

Right, well for starters, the head is far too large. Make sure the shoulders extend out at least that far

You wouldn’t have to, just create a sketch layer

A 50% opacity layer on top to sketch things not as a final design. It’s better to have a sketch beforehand

For example my initial sketch, it’s not close to the finished version but I at least need a base to do my inking over

Ohh. I’ll probably just redo it though. It shouldn’t take long. Thanks for the help. I had a feeling the head was too big. Could I shrink it somehow? I’d not, I’ll just redo it. Nbd.

You can shrink it with the lasso tool

Just shrunk things a bit. I feel like the arms and shoulders will be the issue. I’m proud so far, but I’m worried that if I keep going, I won’t like the outcome. I’m a little bit of a perfectionist.
