Do any @Writers know of a good story about any ancient civilisations, even if they fictional civilisations? I’d love to read it.

There’s a ton of fantastic historical fiction by Mika Valtari. I especially recommend ‘The Egyptian’: That novel was lauded by the archaeologists and actually predicted some discoveries before they were made. It feels like getting transported to the Ancient Egypt.
For more ‘recent’ reads, duology ‘The Secrets of the Kingdom’ and ‘Mankind’s Enemies’ (also known as ‘The Roman’) deal with very early Christianity over the span from immediately after the death of Christ up to the fall of Nero’s rule. There’s also ‘Turms, Immortal’ (also know as ‘The Etruskan’), but it’s a much weaker book than the three above.
