@Sophia1233: In my first online community back in 1999 I met my first two people with more than one personality. But only the 2nd one had DID, the first one had a mild form where the different personalities know each other. Besides her there were two mature characters who watched over everything and several immature child characters. However, being blunt as I am, I asked her why she did not try to get rid of the others using professional help. I already knew the other personalities as well and she said that the two watchers wanted to talk to me about it. Now I was never happy and hard to be criticized, but they got to me by asking me how I would feel if someone suggested to kill me and that their right to exist ain’t any less than the one of the prime personality, if we call it like that. I felt like sharing this to help others understand. :sunglasses:

In some cases, yes. I later met a woman with many personalities that all knew each other, she once said she was a whole people, but they had rules to make it work, like her prime personality being the one dealing with the outside world. She also posted some texts explaining how her inner world works, I kept them in my private forum with her permission, but about one year ago both of my forums were deleted without warning when the firm went bankrupt.

They do all know each other though a creepy figure keeps popping up randomly to scare the youngest.

@%Nemesis Raven and Luna hate it when others suggest getting rid of them. I can see why. I don’t want to get them. They are part of me and I have grown attached them without really meeting them face to face.

I would love to get know others with DID.

Sadly, I am no longer in contact with any of those 3 people I mentioned. They were all German, btw. But I am sure you will get a chance to meet others one day.
