I swear most of the Episode stories where the MC cheats on her boyfriend/fiance/husband don’t know that they are legitimizing 'cheating on your partner’ thing. I mean, some good stories do show that what the MC did was very wrong but in some very poorly written stories, the MC just gets away without facing the consequences! Like this one story on Episode where I read that the MC divorced her husband too easily and also got custody of her daughter and also milked him financially dry as they hadn’t signed up pre-nups during their marriage. Then she goes off to her new LI and lives happily ever after with him. This is a whole new level of escapism in fictional stories that just... do not make ANY sense and people (especially teens) actually enjoy them. Wow.
