Dear drunk drivers,
Two years ago, my friend’s elder brother died in a car accident where his motorcycle was crashed by an incoming car. And no, her brother wasn’t drunk but the car driver was.
Now just tell me -- was it her brother’s fault for dying? No, it was the drunk driver’s fault obviously! Then why did her brother suffer for the drunk man’s mistake?
Do not drink and drive. Just do NOT. Stay back at your home, someone’s home or hotel until you’re sober enough to drive. If it’s too urgent, call a cab or request someone sober enough to drive you back. But do not take the wheel when you’re drunk. Please don’t.
You might not be worried about your life or your family but people like us are! We do care about our lives and our families and our parents who wait for us anxiously till the night for us to arrive safely and praying that no harm befalls us.
This might be sounding too overly dramatic for some but I am just concerned. Carelessness on the part of these people happens a lot in cities where innocent people end up being the victims.
I hope you won’t make the same mistake.
