Someone once told me not to bite off more than I could chew. I told them that I would rather choke on greatness than nibble on mediocrity.

This reminds me so much of one of my 9th graders from last year. He would argue his way into a 10 (the maximum grade) if he got a 9.5, and he would be like, ‘Because I don’t settle for mediocrity’.
