#559 I have two friends on the shannii forums and they used to be friends too. a few weeks ago one of them got in some drama on insta and lost a lot of followers. then the other one started being weird with them and unfollowed them and started saying mean stuff about them in private, b*tching about them. so I told the one who got unfollowed what the other one was saying about them. then the one who got unfollowed started indirecting the things that the other friend said about them here on the shannii forums. now I feel bad cos I think I made their friendship worse. im scared to confess to the other friend that it was me who told the friend what she said.
Iām not going to say too much on this matter, but b*tching isnāt something a friend does. It sounds like all you did was bring light on the fact that one of the parties wasnāt a friend to the other.

Absolutely not. When youāre an adult, I donāt think thereās an age limit on your friendsā ages. Youāre gonna be working with people from all age groups, so youāre bound to mix with people both older and younger than you! Itās not like school where youāre stuck with people your age

Letās be honest here: Episode has favourites. They let some people get away with dogpiling other users to try to shut them up. Not only that, but they actively made life harder for the tea channel that got dogpiled.

#119 I definitely wouldnāt say that these forums are as bad as the episode one haha but I admit that sometimes it is a little awkward for me because I actually like episode. I mean, I know a lot of people here dislike episode for personal reasons (which I completely understand) but Iāve never had any issues with episode at all. Iāve been on the new forums since they opened (and I was on the old one for a few years before that!) and every time Iāve had a problem on the forums the mods have been very kind to me, Iāve never had a post flagged for any reason and I actually enjoy the weekly updates! Same goes for the app itself, itās a lot of fun for me so to come here and see so many people hating on things makes me a little uncomfortable. Iām not sure if itās because I have a different view point or havenāt had the same experiences, but most of the things that the mods and people on the episode forums and app do that the people on these forums hateā¦ I agree with. I mean, why argue with a troll when you could just flag them? Why talk about something completely unrelated to the original post when you could make a new topic? Why say that every single update is trash when you could just not use it? Whatās the point in making a topic that you know breaks the guidelines? Obviously I think everyone should voice their opinions but when itās always negative or intentionally hateful it gets a little awkward. I donāt think itās petty or that the people doing it donāt have lives, I just think that there needs to be a point of moving forward instead of staying in the same place. I do kinda agree with the part about calling people out by name though- I do think that shouldnāt be allowed (yes, Iām referring to Jeremy, Sydney and Arlene but also to episode authors whoāve been called out like Cindy, Miss MJ, Caitoriri and more) Tbh itās gotten to the point where I donāt want to admit publicly that I still love episode because Iām afraid of how people here will react.
I donāt think anyoneās gotta judge for you loving Episode. I love Episode. I mean community stories are awesome, and I met a lot of cool people through it. Just lately, at least I personally, see more bad/negative changes than positive, although it might me partially just salty about my ban.
Well there is nothing wrong about liking Episode, but there were a few things that pissed people off.

Tbh I hope we changed the atmosphere since then! Iāve never tried to stop anyone from having negative or positive feelings about Episode, but I did want to make a place where people could still enjoy Episode, even if I canāt!
Weāve added a lot of threads for people who like Episode, and I hope to do more in the future. Iām actively looking for Episode lovers, though! They always shake things up
