The way around this is to not send dumb ideas

This was an old idea but this is one of the ideas that was suggested and we took on board. It’s taken a while but it’s FINALLY going to be done this week. In the next day or two, in fact.
Honestly I just skimmed through the vast majority of the thread and alot of ideas were considered and the ones that weren’t were given explanations as to why they couldn’t happen 
I just don’t like how this thread has become a place for people to complain about the staff without context or evidence. This isn’t the staff getting special treatment btw, we don’t like dealing with anonymous complaints about anyone.
the concept of “dumb ideas” is pretty broad
but sometimes some people do just give really dumb ideas
Yeah “dumb idea” is pretty subjective, we’ve had some pretty surreal suggestions such as “give the forum a hello kitty theme” but that idea wasn’t dumb it was just something we couldn’t do. 
People need to remember we are limited by discourse with alot of things but if you suggest something we aren’t able to do then sorry we don’t do it I guess?
As for what I consider a dumb idea, anything along the lines of

yeah, those all are extremely dumb 
context?
they can’t do anything without evidence 
you should just pm the higher ups with it

I’ve never met a staff member on here that complained about their job
there really is no use bring up old sh*t that has been resolved other than to paint someone in a negative light or to start drama

A lot of what hinders this is also time. We aren’t a multi-million dollar company who can just hire starving freelance artists and pay them in single eggs like episode or discord. (Sarcasm intensifies, btw, I don’t like capitalism in case you weren’t aware).
But this is a wonderful idea! The differing themes idea was also solid, need I remind people we have like 7 different themes now because someone asked here

Sorry to hear that but could you be more specific in terms of what the staff have done wrong and what internal disputes have prompted people to leave? We try our best as staff to make people happy and I know we aren’t perfect, mistakes have been made and we are always working on our approach to things.
Unfortunately without any evidence or context for your claims there isn’t alot we can do. We cannot solve this issue unless you actually show us what it is.
Did you know the staff have to follow rules too and can be disciplined? This includes the heads. We have systems in place for dealing with issues so please, I know it is alot to ask you to trust us, but give us a chance to deal with things.
“Be a staff” and “we”… This sounds to me like you are saying that you’re indeed a staff member. If this is the case, then you should know that this is not the appropriate way we handle such matter. In fact, the way you have gone about this can be more damaging to forums than the supposed issue you say we have within the staff. You’re basically saying that either as a staff member you haven’t been paying attention when we have constantly said the system in which we handle things or WORSE, you don’t trust the system and/or heads. This hurts more if you are staff, 'cause it means that we (the heads) have put our trust in you as a staff member but you can’t put your trust in us and fully support the forums. You would rather cause drama and pokes holes into the structure that makes up our little forum community. (disappointed and shaking my head)
A contest with art as a prize? Well if we have any artists on the forum who are willing to do this then rad

Hey there everyone!
So, this thread was originally made due to popular demand in the first place. Which, personally, set off red flags for me. I automatically assume that people just want to send hate without consequence when asking for an anonymous form for this kinda thing. Fortunately, to begin with, we actually got a wave of really cool improvements that we actually implemented! And many more things that we decided to look into thanks to this thread.
However, it quickly became somewhat of an anonymous complaints thread. There are many issues with this. @anon68003072 has broken it down plenty already. To offer a proper complaint you need evidence and grounds, which you can’t give anonymously. That’s why we don’t have an anonymous complaints form. With all that in mind, we’ve come to the conclusion that this thread is no longer pulling its weight as far as staff threads go - all it’s doing is causing stress for those running it due to the pointless things sent into it.
If people have ideas for improvement on the forums you are, as always, more than welcome to go through the proper channels and tell us all about your wonderful ideas. I feel we’ve proven many times that we’re willing to take on ideas and even criticisms through this thread, especially in its early days.
The same goes for complaints. If you don’t go through the proper channels, you won’t have your issue resolved. We will just assume that your issue has no grounds if you can’t message a member of staff about it. Simple as.
