Any animes you've watched because of its art style?

I have a handful of animes that I watched for their plotline and art style.

  1. Blue Exorcist - This show has an amazing art style which I love. I actually read the manga before I watched the anime.
  1. Trinity Blood - I loved the dark theme of this anime! It was actually one of my first animes to watch.
  1. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - I tend to go for the more gritty dark animes most of the time when it comes to style. Vampire Hunter D has always been a favorite of mine.
  1. RWBY - This is one of my favorite styles because it looks like video game hybrid anime.
  1. Gen:Lock - this show is made by the same creators of RWBY. The art style is almost the same but this show has a more non-anime style to it instead.
  1. Sword Art Online - I have been in love with this anime since it debuted. I like the whole design of the anime.
  1. Claymore - Another dark themed anime which I love mainly for the art style since it’s drastically different than the manga.

Both are really good! Though only watch season 1 to episode 17 then switch to season 2. They went back to follow the manga correctly. Also, you need to watch them both!

I don’t think I watch anime for its art style unless I think it looks really bad but I’ve watched an anime that has a very unique art style which is Devilman Crybaby.

Welcome to the community Chimera! I have actually not seen that anime before. It sounds like a good one though. We can always make a new thread about it if you want to. I usually watch animes for their art as well. There are only a handful that I look past since I like the story.
