I found out just recently I want to go to medical school and I know it’s hard to get in and you have to have amazing grades and all that, but it seems really cool! I’ve always wanted to help people and now I know how I can do that! Well @AMagic what do you want to be?
I want to be an Immunologist
See an Allergist / Immunologist . Allergist / immunologists are specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of allergies, asthma and other diseases of the immune system
They also pay really good money, I looked up the skills you need for this job and I fit the description perfectly!
I’ve found a really good channel for you, future medical students, that you might want to check out. In fact, it has a lot on info on other careers too!
Kind of wish I could because I would be able to help people but I get nauseous way too easily… There’s also a channel called In A Nutshell (or something like that-definitely has a German name in it that I can’t prounounce).
I’m interested in being a therapist which isn’t the same as this but…
That was one of my biggest wishes but I’m glad I didn’t choose that. It is still something that interests me but I don’t belong there, I’m so much happier here where I currently am
Plus, here it’s really hard to get in… :((
I wanted to be a medical student in the past but I realized that Biology is not my favorite subject and decided to do something else.
Do y’all have science research in your school? If you do, then I recommend you join (if you’re going to be a sophomore next year) cuz it will give you a good chance when it comes to getting into good colleges and it’ll give you a good look in your application. But it’s stressful, so you will need to maintain a good schedule when it comes to the amount of work you have at school cuz there is a lot of work you need to do in science research. But if you don’t want to join science research then that’s totally fine!
I always wanted to do something in the medical field a few years ago. But I’m very sensitive to certain things in the healthcare industry. That wish faded away until now, I don’t know suddenly I want to be a doctor or something else that’s close to that…it’s weird.
For me it’s always been doctor but I actually never looked deeper into what else I could be in the medical spectrum.
I’m also very good at biology it became one of my favourite subjects.
I am a future medical student!! I live in one of the best areas for medical residency and universities so I’m really hopeful and confident, I just need to focus on school and study hard ^^
