I’m not sure why but looking back at those links now seems more just clear and open than I did before. Before I was defensive/not opening to believing it but more or less have not used chakras and now I can actually view it clearly without bias or my own insecurities and calmly use another word!
I’m wondering if anyone else has had this experience with accepting things like this lol, or learning from your past mistakes. Usually I’m like this a lot, defensive at first and then eventually actually realizing my wrong doings and making amends.

Yeah I am as well. First time someone told me I was like ??? mmm no… gonna still say chakras. But it’s really important to be given an alternative and realize your actions could be harming a culture/religion ^~^ I totally get what your saying haha

Yeah it takes me a while to get over stuff. Like, even if I try not to I still do hold grudges and hold onto old beliefs, its hard to let it go. But after not using it for a while and not having it be so close to me, it’s easier now to just switch to calling it energy points. It seems less like someone’s calling me out now and more like I’m correcting myself.

i have no authority on this topic but i’d say probably? since it’s not just an 
aesthetic thing, but it has an important meaning that would be minimised if treated as just something to accessorize with?
i get the frustration ngl
but also, as i said it’s not always bad, and a multilingual person may do it to convey something they can’t convey in one language
for example, sometimes i sprinkle some french saying in my speech / writing because it conveys what i mean better than spanish or english, or i use Ancient Greek concepts for the same reason
language is a tool of communication and if we’ve learnt how to use the tool (if we actually know about the language) and use it respectfully instead of treating it as an adorn or something like that, there isn’t much of an issue
after all calques/loans have historically helped languages grow
just look at the many french calques english has!
i don’t think using a word from another language (given it doesn’t have an important cultural / historical / spiritual value) is inherently wrong?
it’s only if you’re using it to make your speech “quirky” or treat it as not part of the japanese language but just something “cool” to say… then it would become a problem
(though while on the topic, i do want to ask you to stop using characters from other writing systems as replacement for our letters, since that is treating a language like an aesthetic, rather than a language, and ignoring the fact that people actually use said writing systems >.< (sorry, as a hellenist it’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine when people don’t respect the greek alphabet))

it’s okay, i guessed you didn’t have any ill intentions
it’s just a bit iffy, since it’s using greek characters improperly (for example: σ is an s, not an o, ρ is an r, not a p, ω is a (long) o, not a w, etc)
