I would say hi and try to be friends with them. Finally a non-human to befriend 
I think communication with any alien life would have to be super complicated
We’re considered “aliens” to the aliens though so are we hiding from the aliens in outer space or are they hiding from us? Think about it.
To actively “hide” from them we would have to be able to travel through space first.
