I’ve never been on there
I loved DeviantArt, it was always cool, but I didn’t use it for publishing my art!
When I was younger I was really into photoshop and I loved to experiment on it! I used DeviantArt just to find some good overlays, pngs or stuff like that 
I’m not sure if I have an account or not.

I’ve been on deviantART since 2007, though I haven’t actively used it for the last 5 years or so. Partially because I don’t produce a lot of art, partially because, well… The site went so downhill. It used to be a revolutionary website that completely changed the landscape of the world of art, but years of poor management turned it into a place that serious artists avoid with a wide arc 
Basically, think of WattPad, but for artists
Still, I made some amazing friends there and my time on the site was very enlightening. I have very fond memories - but I don’t care to go there any more.
It doesn’t help that their new layout is giving me colossal headaches. Also, the ever-present ‘artistic porn’ problem =.=;

People post their art on it, I’m not sure what makes it better than other sites for that
