Anyone excited to see my characters? One benefit of being sick now is that I have some time to look at that and work on it!
Non-Binary is alright as long as youāre fine with them being grouped in with the guys, or girls.
(For example, if they are grouped with males, their match will be female or the opposite.)
essentially they have to be considered either male or female for matching purposes (probably whichever their physical appearance most closely matches) for the heterosexual season, but Iāll allow them to be non-binary

This season Iām doing heterosexual, (just for the purpose of making matching a little easier as Iām still working out the kinks of my matchmaking spreadsheet) but next season Iāll do bi/pan.

Yeah, no, then I have to reconsider my characters completely. Probably wonāt go non-binary then as that makes me super uncomfortable in a heterosexual seasonā¦ And have to rethink my girl too, cause the first ideas I had were based on it being a pansexual season

It is not that itās more complicated. Itās just far more time intensive for matchmaking and would require some very different questions for the form.

I thought I had expressed well enough that this wasnāt bi/pan in the new ideas thread & in the beginning of this thread.
In the end, itās still my choice, regardless of the polls, and through thorough consideration (and asking more people) I decided that for myself heterosexual was a better way to go for this first season. Keep it classic for the first one, especially since thereās a lot of the other details that Iāve changed (including revamping signups with more detail)

And donāt worry if some of them are a little random on the general likes/dislikes especially. Sometimes I throw in a random one or two just to feel like thereās more (like, on one of mine, I said frogs as a dislike. Thereās no background really, itās just random)
