Overall there can be sort of a mix of detail put in.
Bios/Personalities, I recommend putting in the effort for some detail. But beyond that can be more surface level if that makes sense?
Mainly it has to be enough detail to help me understand them to match them with another character, and then for you to stay in character later.
Some of us do a lot of detail, while others do less. So its more up to you.

No planning with other RPers before the rp starts.
None of them know each other going into it, so thereās nothing to plan with other people.
And they donāt really need secrets. Its just all about letting who your character is, and their info gradually being revealed to the characters,
Thatās really the key.
Make sure they are well rounded characters and youāll be perfectly fine.
