Best Episode Directing Tips

I’m gonna keep this short and clear, what’s the best episode directing tip you have heard? Share them down below and maybe we can help each other out!

I will share a few of my own tips:

  • Don’t overwork yourself with coding since in the end the plot is what matters most.
  • Play around with the speech bubbles, that can make your story feel unique easily.
  • Duplicating a character can be very useful for difficult coding.

Bump, anyone any directing tips they want to share?

•Make a practise story where you can mess around with overlays and mini games etc.

•I like to do this but you don’t have to:
When making your story think about scenes you will have a lot. For example i will probably have lots of party scenes and cafe scenes.
So then make Background characters for those specific scenes before you start your story. Because then you have them ready and you don’t need to make them whilst your writing.

•This might be common sense but idk. Keep the backgrounds tab, overlay tab and animation tab open

•Don’t attempt advanced directing/games if you don’t know how to. You’ll probably just get a bunch of errors and it will stress you out and make you not want to write.
So I would recommend clicking these links and watching/reading everything they have posted.
